I took the leap, 8gpm here I come

That about enough of that

So you can use both sides of the pump for water inlet and actually use one side for chemical.

Yes it’s called upstreaming. You’ll get high pressure soap

Learn something new everyday. I am assuming this is a great way to doing fleet washing faster. I seen someone on youtube with a double injector with a 3 way valve and all 3 hoses encased on youtube. Is upstreaming better? My 2-step gun for fleet washing - YouTube

I believe he’s down streaming in that video.

You would be correct

That video is a joke. He has no clue what he’s doing.

I tried to watch the whole thing but that guy is all over the place. Maybe he was just camera shy

Hes dragging all them hose’s around in the attempt to two step with pressure claiming it’s a two step gun, He slips up when he changes tips to soap, truth is, he should just get the schertz box and stop all that nonsense and throw all that crap in the nearest dumpster. He’s just DS with his soaps at the gun at low pressure. Woop ahh dee doo…

You mean when he clicked that trombone thing at the end of the gun? Another thing, he says he’s running an 8gpm machine with 1/4" hose. That’s got to be an incredible amount of friction loss. Not to mention that’s a lot of water just to wash trucks.

Yeah, he switched to a soap nozzle to draw at low pressure, Then back to hp nozzle to rinse via trombone flip nozzle, that ain’t the way it works, a 2 step gun applies both soaps at HP and HP to rinse with same nozzle,no need to switch nozzles. that’s why we drag all that crap around to make the magic happen. Hes dragging that crap around because he’s an idiot. Hes just DS like yall are. Nothing wrong with that, but why all the hose’s to achieve a simple DS process is were the stupid comes in to play.

Hmm that makes sense. How does he get chemical at the gun so fast though? I run 200’ and it usually takes about ten seconds before I get soap.

Because his homemade DS injector is on his gun. Then hes gotta valve to incorporate soaps on the gun as well. so the soaps are right there on standby Hence the 2, 1/4" soap lines. Soaps never go through the HP line.
Hes trying to mimic this.

His problem is he can’t put his soaps down at HP @1500 psi or better hes still at around 70, 80 psi like a house washer, ya gotta do that for the magic to happen. We basically are doing upstreaming with 2 different soaps , But not going through pump if that makes sense. The soaps get way more powerful once they are applied with HP and heat.

Okay got it. He’s just doing basically everything harder than it has to be. I like that orange handle. It would almost match my Texas gear if it was a few shades darker lol

I’m new at the 2 step gun, I’ve been DS 2 stepping for years, Its a bulky PITA to maneuver and get used to. Yall DS your house wash on then let it dwell for what 7 minutes or so ? then it slides right off when rinsing right?
This gun allows us to do the same sliding off affect with zero dwell time to improve speed and efficiency for the wand guy. When we 2 step DS, the wand guy has to rinse every square inch of the truck or it will show when dry, This gun eliminates that problem, now we just willy nilly rinse like y’all do @DisplacedTexan

Hey, there’s a method to it! But yes just let dwell for a few and it rinses right off. I always wondered how Dez was knocking out trucks in like 11 seconds. I thought for sure you’d have to be somewhat meticulous about rinsing but I guess I just figured the companies don’t care that much they’re just going to get dirty the very next day lol

I get my speed from single stepping. We two step these other guys are TRIPLE stepping. Acid, soap and then rinse. I’m just boom here comes the soap then a rinse for ya. I can clean day cabs in under 7 minutes all day everyday for 14 hours a day. Only stopping for hydrant fill ups and a quick 30 min lunch. @Hotshot would need to recover with a day on day off running that robo gun.
