I took the leap, 8gpm here I come

I upgraded from my 5.5 and just ordered the water dragon 8gpm udor w the Honda engine. Third year in as part time and I think this is a solid investment. I’m working on my company branding more also.
Thanks for everyone’s help for when I randomly get on here. Like and follow my fb posts guys Redirecting...

I’m going 7. I find that a lot of areas I do hold water. My 5.5 floods many areas I do. I didn’t want to go all the way to 8 so I’m doing a 7@3500 udor gear drive on a 22hp predator and my 5.5 pressure pro as a back up.

I’m considering a pump upgrade on my gx630. It should handle a 7/3500 as it’s only using 17hp right now.

I’m building a gear drive 8 gpm, 3,000 psi Predator. It will be my first build. Hopefully it’s straight forward.

Wow, I can’t believe how compact and clean that looks. A lot less clunky than a belt drive.

Can’t go wrong with a geardrive.

I feel really stupid asking this, but if I wanted the water feed line switched to the other side, is it just a matter of swapping the plug?

Yes you are correct, the two ports on top of the manifold are your high pressure outlets and the two on the bottom are the both for supply/suction. Left or right your choice

Perfect, thanks.

@dcbrock not a stupid question at all, most of the well known pumps are of a symmetrical design, meaning plug up one end and use the other and vice versa.

Or become one of the cool kids and use one side for soap and one side for water
