Nope, and one bolt is at a board split. But the whip line will rub a hole in the gas tank before the bolts holding the feet on vibrate loose.

About the same as me forgetting to put my gas cap back on for my machine. I’ve only made a mess with the diesel once

I’ve never seen a skid frame like that, it looks like aluminum with bolted foot plates. Could be some future tech

I believe Ultimate Washer was the first to have them produced

It was many many moons ago

Absolutely zero thought and engineering has gone into that skid. Perfect example of how to do the basics wrong.

I’d be nervous to put a $800+ pump on it.

A good rule of thumb is, if your skid doesn’t hurt your back to pick it up, don’t mount a machine on it. Mine weigh a little over 75 pounds with belt guard.

Does the extra mass just act as a vibration dampener?

The heavier it is the thicker it is which equals less flex. The vibration of the engine will crack thin base plates. My base plates are 1/4" thick

Yes, plus they don’t flex or crack. 3/8 cold rolled steel. I have one going back to 1998 that has had a half dozen different engines and a few pumps mounted to it over the years

Your’s needs to be ‘High Horsepower’

Yes. It came with them. It’s not bolted down. I’m making a stand for it so it can sit over the tank to save me some space.

Smart use of space :+1:

Well now @dperez is going one in the pink and 2 in the stink with his new double upstream method! That’s not the shocker that’s the stunner!

Wouldn’t put it past him to go for a 3rd

At that point why not. Maybe just throw the whole fist in there! Ahem we are still talking about chemicals right? Don’t want to get in trouble lol

heck throw the whole torso in there, it would resemble someone coming out of a manhole.
