Hydro Max DC Series

Is it really a pressure switch or a flow switch? If I shut my hose off with my ball valve at end of hose, then the burner turns off, but there’s still pressure there. And why would a combined unit be different than a free standing hotbox? What activates it then if not a flow switch? There’s absolutely nothing on my hotbox connecting it to pump or unloader. LOL, you need to draw me a diagram and take a pic to post. Some things I know a lot about and some I know squat about, this being one of many.

This Pressure Switch has a 1/4″ M Inlet, for use on any brand of pressure washer. Its primary function is to allow the burner system to ignite when high pressure water is sensed through the system. Releasing the trigger gun will cause the burner to shut down until the trigger is pulled again.

saves gas it seems

@DJPWS You should check the gas and diesel tanks. I know @marinegrunt had some shavings or something like that in the gas tank. I’m going to pull mine and dump it and see if it has any, too.

I’ll check it out, haven’t filled it with gas yet, thanks for the heads up :+1:

Some pressure pro skids had that problem for awhile, have never heard of the hydromax having that problem.

No Isuzu with my tanks on my hydro max.

Where did you get the rain shield from? I need one!

When I ordered my Hydro max unit, I asked Randy who took my order to have that put on for me after seeing it in racers video. It was free of charge. But I believe racer said the rain shield is okay and blocks out some rain but not all. I think he said it could be improved somehow
