Hudson float valves unreliable?

I phoned my guy in AG. He said nope, you’ll have to run a 3/4" 90 street elbow. Use the Topaz

There’s an adaptable arm holding the float… you’ll have to angle it just right. You’ll also lose volume in the tank going vertical.

When using the Topaz for your application you would run it without the extension arm and just attach the float directly. You can then rotate the float and orientate it ABOVE the valve.

That extension arm is used for filling troughs so you can maintain a air gap and not siphon back into the water supply

Just let the water flow, if the tank overflows it just means you aren’t washing fast enough

I think this is the perfect sentiment…I only do float valves because we typically fill our tanks at night in the shop…we already have a “days since we last flooded the shop” toteboard, and I don’t need to add to that problem :joy:

The white disk regulated the down pressure on the valve. It allows the valve to open further. For the agricultural industry where they have lower psi. For us that typically hook up to house pressure you dont need it
