How much should i charge for a 8 car driveway?

Sqft is 228. I live in California which cost of living is high. Havey oil stains . I have a hot water system, honda engine at 4000psi 4gpm mini trailer

I think your square footage is off. 228’ is nothing. Like a 10’by 23’ drive. LOL, that’s enough drive for one full sized pickup

I used google earth but looks like a long drive way that fits 8 cars

It’s possible to squeeze 8 cars in there.

Going off google earth, maybe i did it wrong. Drive way is long

Length times width equals square footage. Round off your numbers for simplicity. I just eyeball them all in person. If it’s 89.2 feet long & 18.5 feet wide, I see 90 x 20 = 1800 square feet.

I see what your saying, 20 ft is width and 90ft is length. Is that how you always charge sqft for driveway? Because i only been doing length, like with google earth on the picture. It said 228 sqft. I did all corners

You read “perimeter”, which is the length of the line if you traced the outside edges of the object, which you did. Change the bottom one to “sq ft” and you’ll be better off

so we were all pretty close…I was going to say 2000sf, but it looks like @TheWizard hit it about dead on at 1800ish

Bingo! Now times that number by whatever you need to make and there’s your quote

that would be the correct way…still seems a little light to me, but only you can say for sure…

Regardless, how long will it take you? What do you need per hour? That’s how you back into your sf price correctly.

…and…what types of stains you are removing. I’m not an oil stain removing kind of guy, but I’d imagine a company would charge more to remove oil stains, rust stains, paint spills, etc vs just a standard dirt and mildew cleaning. Different chems, longer dwell times, heat possibly would all be factors I would reckon.

Thank you guys. Much love from California.
He also told me he has alot of stains of oil because he has lowriders he fixes at his hosue. I am asking because i dont wanna do the same mistake. I told a guy i would charge him 250 to remove oil based epoxy from his 20 by 20 garage and he quickly said yes to fine out jobs like that cost 700 and up but i gave him my word. No backing out

Oil stains from car and rust

Haha, I didn’t even look at the photo. I just pulled those numbers out of the air for example. I get lucky on rare occasion.

You sure are a wizard lol.
I did .50 cents and it came out to 620$ you guys dont think i am charging alot with .50 cents ? Should i say 350?

Haha, if it works don’t fix it. Any number with a $ sign in front of it is entirely up to you. Even your own local competitors are sure to be all over the place. On the side note, they’re not all looking for the cheapest price. If they are, you probably don’t want to work for them anyway. And don’t plan on erasing those oil stains cause it ain’t happenin.
