How much roof snot in house mix

How much roof snot should i add to a 40 gallon house mix. I am direct applying with a 12 v and dont want to add too much because i still want to be able to rinse. I was thinking 1/3 ounce of snot per ounce of house mix

The easy answer for this is none. Technically using the 12v is crazy overkill for cleaning a house unless you dial it back to .5 .

Using a 10:1 downstream injection system on a pressure washer will get you better results while keeping you from wasting a ton of time

That’s a good place to start, if not enough suds for you add a little more. I would say you’ll probably end up at 1/2 - 3/4 oz per gal, but then I like a decent amount of suds.

Roof snot has left streaks on houses for me. I tried it one week when I ran out of Eleminator.

What kind of streaks did it dry before rinsing? How did you get rid of them? I’ve only used elemonator I’m just curious how it happened/what would cause it. Almost ordered roof snot instead last time

They were white soap stains. Had to rinse everything again. Was very new siding.

I used the cherry snot today on a house. I started out at .33 oz per gallon and it didnt really stick so i bumped it up to .5 oz per gallon and it worked but I think ill bump it up to 3/4 oz per gallon next time. It rinsed really well. I was using dawn before and it would leave brown streaky marks on the house after rinsing for a long time. But with the snot no marks and no streaks on windows and way faster rinse time. Ill try eliminator next.

Has anyone ever used a chemical called golden pots and pans dish soap? I have a local supplier that sells it and he says guys buy it to do roofs.

So are you using it for roofs? Because you question seems like your using it for the house’s siding.

Nevermind just read your last post. Roof snot was made for roofs like the name states and dawn dish soap too. Buy the right chemical for the job. Would you buy oven mits to weld with ? :joy::joy::joy:

I wAs trying to figure out a way to use 1 surfactant for both house and roof if it was possible. To make things simpler and to cut down shipping cost from ordering from multiple sites for different things. Just trying to find the best work flow so my business runs efficient. @Grizz the snot actually worked pretty well on the house. Have you ever tried it? And p.s we’re not tlking about oven mitts and welding. We’re talking about surfactant and surfactant. Essentially apples to apples

The last couple of orders of elemonator haven’t been that great. I’ve actually had better luck with snotmenade as far as rinsing

I thought it was an apt analogy.
Surfactant to surfactant.
Protective (heat resistant) hand-wear to protective (heat resistant) hand-wear.

Pretty much every site that sells proper surfactants sell different ones for roof and house washing so I am having trouble seeing your point here. Who taught you to use dish soap? You really need to do some research on here to learn why you shouldn’t be using it.

Weird… I’ve only heard good things but that’d definitely scare me off from using it again if it happened to me.

If you buy slo-mo you can use it for both jobs

So far mine have been good but ive only ordered 3 gallon jugs and this time i went with a fiver and have plenty left. I remember in the beginning of the year racer had a bad batch or something. Had to double up just to get suds.im wondering if that stuff seperates over time and needs to be shaken every now and then.

Vincent im going to buy some slo mo and add southside cover scent to it and see how i like it on roofs. Also what is your mix ratio for a average 10/12 pitch roof. I have a buddy that says hes mixing 40 oz to 100 gallons and its not clinging well.

I was going to say i have used a Allen wrench to take torx screws out but only in a pinch but that one wasnt as good :joy::joy::joy::joy:
