I know. I just thought maybe the joke was in poor taste considering the guy died like two days ago

New problem. The pressure decreased again to 3000psi from 3500 last post. Was 4000psi new. Just did the breakin oil change of the engine at 17.5 hours.

Really fed up with the brand new machine having so many issues maintaining proper pressure. Is it a belt issue? Literally nothing has changed except the engine oil since my last job.

What can I do to fix the pressure? It’s slowing me down tonight.

Can you get a cleaner pic of the drive end? I can’t see how proud it sits in its sheave

check your check valves for debris, then check it holding properly

While it’s spraying how much water is getting bypassed back to your buffer tank?

Dats a lot! Less flow to your nozzle equals less pressure

Tighten up the unloader and if it’s not defective you should be good to go

Unloader is as tight as it can go.

Trash it

The unloader or the rig? It’s brand new. 20hours on the thing and its losing pressure

Sorry, IMHO the unloader is defective and it should be traded out to see what you get

Sounds like the unloader if the belts are tight….

They made a really complicated bypass setup. The clear hose is for “easy startup” of the rig and the main bypass line is by the unloader: there’s also this nitrogen container, the purpose of which I’m not entirely sure of. No idea if that could be the culprit. Don’t see any reason why id need compressed gas to operate a bypass

I feel you really should try another unloader. The pulsation dampner just pushes back against micro spikes to smooth the vibration

If you are spraying water at 3k and you have more water than a trickle being sent back to the tank via bypass the unloader is likely your issue

If that’s the case shouldnt it prevent brinnelling? I keep getting my fittings stuck on the QD when before they were fine. But I’ll pick up a new unloader tomorrow and see how it goes. What’s the lifespan on one of those typically? I feel like this one failed way too early
