House washing questions and pricing?

Elemanator king?

Maybe you could/should keep the acct. Your guaranteed visibilty in that neighborhood may turn out profitable! Ask if you may put out a yard sign.

I actually live in the neighborhood…pretty much how I have managed to stay busy. Hooked them in with semi-lower prices (not the $99 guy) and then started to upsell. Plus, just about everyone will recommend me when someone asks on the Facebook page who does exterior cleaning. Unfortunately, I was stupid in my pricing as I was doing some items for the first time. But, she is very good about recommendations, so by keeping that account, there’s a possibility of getting referrals. As for yard signs, the HOA are sticklers about yard signs after work is completed. The board members can be seen driving around taking down signs…granted I did work at two of their houses, so they are a little “slow” on the sign retrieval.

Maybe join “nextdoor” app. Id bet you have neighbors on it. Offer HOA member discounts on it. Word will get out. You know, the Jones’s effect. Slowly move your underbid customer towards your off season months. That way it doesnt get in the way of your better paying jobs bit you dont get a bad rep. My .02

You read my mind…I actually did join it and posted on there, not only to my neighborhood (yes, has many of my neighbors), but also to like 25 surrounding neighborhoods. Currently, I am a full-time teacher, so this is my side gig, but I definitely love it more than teaching. But I will for sure keep that advice in mind. Sounds like a good idea.

Feel free to drop ship me some elemenator ! I’ve been going with a local vendors product, but I read good things about elemenator!

@Innocentbystander it’s been a couple years since this post. Think we’ll ever hear from him again? haha
BTW thanks for all your contributions over the years. I’m mostly just a reader and you’re very helpful on many of the forums…

I am gonna keep reading but if your passing out free elemomator for being persistent I will gladly take on. Thanks lol!!! Have a good day.

Before any of you get any for free, need to learn how to spell it, lol.

Anyone tried Shamblin Sauce yet??? It’s a surfactant/degreaser… I tried and it cleans well with SH but has no odor masking agent in it… So it’s a no go for me

www.vectorchemicals.com. Some of the best products I have ever used.

For what it’s worth, In Central Ohio area I charge $0.15 - $0.20 a square ft. for homes.
