I got to admit it. The new F150 body style is sharp. It’s a great looking truck. I’m just not keen on aluminum. I’m a freak about dings and PDR on aluminum is twice as expensive.

I know and it’s ridiculous in my opinion. I’m holding onto my steel truck until I can afford to buy my dream diesel and keep this one as a strictly work truck. From what I understand GM is only using aluminum in a few areas and not entire body panels like the Ford. For now at least. I’m sure they will follow suit. To be honest, I went and compared a High Country 2500 to a King Ranch F250 and I liked the King Ranch more. I’m holding out to see what the 2021-22 HD’s look like with the updated interiors. If they’re not as nice or nicer than the King Ranch I may have to vote with my dollars.

I do love them. I absolutely hate the new Chevy body style so I’d have to go with a GMC Denali but I really want the saddle leather interior. I almost bought the half ton High Country when I bought my truck but I couldn’t justify it. I walked out the door with a brand new crew cab 4x4 LT for $28k so the $40k for the HC just wasn’t gonna happen. When I buy my diesel it’ll be one I keep for twenty years so I’m getting everything I want.
@SchertzServicesLLC My father in law has a 1997 F250 Crew Cab Short Bed 4x4 in black. One owner, 7.3L and decently well taken care of. I want that truck so bad I can’t stand to see it. I want to make it look like this:

I’d love one of those new GMC with the step rear gate. My neighbor across the street just got one, but I’m not paying that for a work truck that Grizz is going to get cracker crumbs all over. With the one I got now, I can just hose it out, lol.
I really like how they’ve moved the interior sidewalls out. I could just about lay in there sideways.

Those tailgates are sweet! They even have an option for speakers and bluetooth right there too. Use the leaf blower! Less cleanup!
