High pressure "bulkhead" QCs?

I had one saved on Amazon but apparently the seller doesn’t offer them anymore

I’m sure I have it somewhere but send me your address again and I’ll send you some. I misunderstood what you were asking. I’ve got a bin fill of them

That hex wears down smooth pretty quickly is you don’t zip tie a piece of old fire hose over it, or a short piece of garden hose. I gave up on that because it never stayed in place. Just keep a pipe wrench or vice grips on the truck and hope for the best.

i think it’s a union you want @DisplacedTexan

I had a few in a collection of stuff I bought from a guy going out of business and I have no idea what I did with them. Are the ones you use stainless?

Yes, but I’ve used brass and they lasted just as long. The house goes before the union does and I replace the union then

Yep. Simple to take apart in the field if you need

Google search 3/8" FNPT Hex Coupling broski

Thanks Dez! My Google fu is weak I guess because I was googling 3/8" double female coupler and was definitely not getting those results.

Also, $18 for a SS coupler seems like highway robbery.

They will both last the same amount of time

Grainger is awesome!.. for finding what it is I’m looking for, and looking up details/specs/etc. Don’t think I’ve bought a single thing from them at those prices though :joy:

Yep, I don’t buy from them. If my guy doesn’t have it, either I don’t need it or he will get it for me.

We’re not so fortunate in terms of a local shop/dealer… I don’t grab much there either, unless it’s pressing. They had one of our old machines for 3 months when I started here. Couldn’t tell us anything, so I had them just send it back to me for parts. Had a local private shop guy take it to scavenge parts to repair another unit, and all it needed was a new valve spring…

Makes me not trust them for much of anything…

I wouldn’t have started this business if I didn’t have local support.

Back to your original question, couldn’t you just bolt down an unloader block & add some QC’s?

I believe he’s wanting a “stand off” to avoid a right angle. I could make him something :smirk:

But I’m busy so here’s what he should do. Remote mount the unloader via whip hose. Bypass through the unloader block, run straight through the unloader. On/Off Quick couple off the unloader

Or, just pull off however much hose you need, lock the reel and wash.

To be fair, the internet wasn’t a thing when you started :joy:

He’s got electric, doesn’t even have to lock, lol.

Why are you even considering anyway?
