Help picking business name

Well I’m in Kentucky and it’s cold here and right now isn’t the best time to start washing so I’m planning ahead for March or April to actually start so I’m spending time on stuff like this right now while I have time to figure it out.

Well fb ads sucked for me, flyers same, I pretty much set myself up for google search. I had a small budget at about $300 a month for google ads. Around half my jobs were that, the other half was all the old ladies telling their neighbor about the sweet young man who washed their house lol. So my return on investment was pretty good

I’m with Heath. go with the Kentucky Power Wash and buy the domain he rec TODAY. You can come up with a catchy tag line later, if wanted, but for search results doesn’t get any easier.

Do you think west Kentucky power wash is better? Since that’s the area I’m targeting?

No, kiss. You can put that in tagline or description on Google. Make it easy for people to remember and I don’t think it hurts at all if preceived to be bigger. Who knows, someday you may be all over the state

Don’t use West Kentucky Power Wash. There was a company that started in Murray a couple of years ago that did horrible work and they’re out of business now, and that was their name.

Edit: apparently there is someone else now using that name

Are you from this area? Thanks for the advice. Do you have any name suggestions?

Yes, I’ve been washing in WKY for 15 years. My advice is to pick a name easy to spell and easy to remember. People generally won’t remember your personal name, but they need to be able to tell the neighbor to call “XYZ power washing” or whatever without any confusion.

Personally, I wouldn’t do the frankenstein thing unless you want people saying “I think the company that did my house was called monster wash, or franken wash or something.” Believe me, most people won’t even remember who they had wash their house 6 months after you’re gone.

I have owned Drpowerclean.com for a while and was thinking of changing over to that with some mascot similar to the Einstein wash guy. My current name is more for SEO but it I can hear the distrust in my name sometimes when people call because Tampa House Washing doesn,t roll off the tongue.

Thank you for the advice. Looking forward to learning from all of you seasoned professionals.

Did the name change to Tampa house washing help the phone ring more?

This is what we’re using now

Looks sharp!

You could also put a number on your truck. For instance use your favorite baseball players number. Like 14 for Pete rose. Your next truck could be 24, for Ken Griffey Jr.
