Yea, as cheesy as it might seem, I thought with the clean freak I could use a cartoon Frankenstein or something holding a pressure washing gun. Lol and my colors could be green and a little bit of purple
So you’re saying Kentucky power washing is already taken but Kentucky pressure washing isn’t? Don’t do west Kentucky, just Kentucky? Thanks for the advice. I’m so picky and have been having analysis paralysis about my name lol
I did find on google a company named Ky power washing they just don’t seem to have a website.
We have the Kentucky lakes around here but there is already a couple of small pressure washing company’s that use lake in their name.
Kentucky Pressure Washing LLC is taken. Kentucky Power Washing LLC has not been filed with the state of Kentucky. It’s available for use.
Thanks for the help!
Personally, I think Kentucky power washing or whatever is available, is about as memorable as the valedictorian speech at my graduation (hint: it wasn’t!)
Also, it opens you up to brand confusion, etc. with multiple companies having such similar names. And what if KY pressure washing suddenly gets a really bad reputation somehow, like they land on the nightly news for ripping off elderly customers? Stranger things happen.
I’m in favor of picking something more unique and memorable. Doesn’t have to be Clean Freak, but I think it’s in the right neighborhood.
Also, also, you want something you can live with for a good while. It’s a pain in the neck changing a business name. Even a slight rebrand is more work than you think. Pick something you like, and sets you apart somehow.
(Oh, and believe it or not, “Infinity” was a lot more unique back when I picked it. Wish I wasn’t such a trend setter )
I agree with your point about memorable. To a degree. It depends on what your goal is and how you want to position yourself towards that goal.
Clean Freak Washing with a Frankenstein caricature would be memorable.
hope you don’t mind i chime in here i never really got feedback for my company name i’d like some of y’alls input on it.
3/10. I would keep brainstorming. Font is nearly impossible to read, as well.
Only thing it has going for it is the bit of alliteration/roll-off-the-tongue-ness
Edit: Sorry if that came off a bit harsh. I didn’t realize this was a name and logo already in use. I thought you were still in the brainstorming phase
What about - OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) House Washing ? We make a big deal over every thing We’re nuts over cleaning
We’re Certifiable when it come’s to cleaning
If I could go back in time I’d rename to OogaBoogas Best Wash. One hell of a scroll stopper for advertising
I think in this day and age someone is bound to be offended by a name like that. I agree it makes sense and could get some clients, others wouldnt like it
i’ve been thinking about ditching the cursive font for that very reason. I was really just asking about the company name alone as i plan on changing the logo around in the future
Well, how do you like the name? How have your customers reacted to it? That’s all that really matters.
Buisness names should be what you like but also reference your career field and your area.
For instance I picked Summit Wash Pros.
I’m based out of Lee’s Summit, I do power/pressure/soft washing, and I am a professional service.
When people look up “professional pressure washer in Lee’s summit”, my business is more likely to show. Keywords in your name, website, logos, etc are all important in my opinion
Thank you, I’m just trying to figure out a way to be memorable but also easy to find and professional. Summit is a cool name, my area is west Kentucky and it sounds more boring. Are you the owner operator? I like the wash pros but it’s just going to be me at first and wash pros sounds more like a company of people
I’m a sole proprietor. One man operation. It’s me and the buisness. I work for my business.
It doesn’t matter if it’s just you. Adding the S at the end, in my personal opinion l, makes your business appear larger which might influence customers in the hiring process.
With my business I focus on branding. I want to grow a brand in my area.
My logo, website, business cards, all have a clean cut pro look to it that’s customer friendly.
I did well my first official year, even part time. I give all my success to 2 things
- Customer Service
- My brand/image that I portray to the public.
So in short, it’s okay to put an s. Another benefit is you might choose to hire multiple employees one day and now you don’t have to change your name !
Pick a name and go wash. Your thinking about things that don’t move the needle. Put that effort into relationship building and marketing, be sure to report back and thank me at a later date
Very solid advice, I appreciate it and basically have the same goal as you’ve stated in my plan for the future of my business. If you don’t mind me asking, I’m starting on a relatively small budget, I know it varies depending on your market, but what was your best roi in marketing when you started?
