Hard decision!

I just sold my Subaru outback and got a truck. Im now ready to purchase my machine and im nervous. Help me out guys.

Im pretty sure everyone will say 5.5gpm but is the 5.0 gpm 3000psi more versatile. I know more gpm means more soap and more water to rinse BUT as my list goes down the “cleaning units drop too” im not sure if thats important. I plan on doing residential home mostly. Concrete, roofs, decks and houses.id like to place my order tonight. Thanks in advance for any advise on my purchase.

Id go with the 4/4 with Cat Pump. Mines actually 5.1 gpm and 2900 psi (give or take) when tested.

Ya i used racers and it was more gpm than stated to. That was my first choice just wanting to see if someone could talk me out of it lol

Now that im thinking about the EB4040HC i did like it and it had enough power to clean the edge of the side walk that missed with just a ball valve turned half way. ( there was large rocks and i was scared it would break his surface cleaner if hit one of them) also didnt take that long to rinse.

Never used or seen a 5.5gpm 2500psi in action just wonder how it is better other that more soap more water less pressure

So what truck did you get?

Are you gonna have a buffer tank setup?

V8 f150 ext sport nice work truck. Got enough room for wife and kids and i think a 6 1/2 foot bed. im sure i could fit my hose chemicals and 65gal buffer tank in there for awhile.

Yes a legged 65gal

I have 4/4 but if I were you since.you have the buffer get the 5.5/2500. More gpm .from my research 2500 psi should be sufficient for residential surface cleaning

Rick what do you think? If you could go back would you of went with the 5.5gpm or keep your 4gpm. The setup you had for you back up machine worked great. You think the 5.5 could get the same or better results. Im more focused on quality rather than speed.

Ya ive read my fair share of post here where everyone says 5.5 2500 machine if your on a budget and ive seen some seasoned veterans recommend 4/4k machines. Haven’t seen but a couole of posts about the 5gpm/3000psi machine im thinking it might be a good versatile machine for a honda 11hp motor.

I saw this little truck today for $1,100 and thought it would be cool to build a mini rig out of it!

I’ve thought about getting a 5.5 for a 2nd machine before, but as I told you, the difference in flow compared to mine is negligible. Maybe I just got lucky on my machine but I think I would stick with mine. I sure wouldn’t get any machine less than 3000psi and preferably3500

Ive have came across a couple of these while looking for work truck and even some nice flat beds but i have to have a crew cab or 4 door because itll be my only vechile for awhile. So my options were limited. Looks like a mini IBS truck lol

Nice.

Ya i was pretty much set on getting the same one i used that day. You have it setup perfectly and i enjoyed useing it.

The cheapest i have found a EB4040Hc is 1599.99 shipping included. Does anyone know of somewhere cheaper. The site i found was my first link in the post.
