Gutter Cleaning Season! $100/hour?!

I’ve changed a lot of fascia boards myself, but its not from gutters. It’s from non maintained clogged gutters and ice dams.

Thanks you for posting that. If that doesn’t show the need to remove gutters, I don’t know what does. Those clogged gutters and gutters that won’t flow water because the guards block drainage cause a lot of damage for home owners. Fortunately there are legitimate contractors like you that post info showing the damage gutters can do. Much tespect6.

No gutters cause the exact same damage to foundations as clogged gutters. And you’re welcome. Lol

I’ll have to stop the conversation. I think you honestly believe gutters and guards are a good idea, despite the link you posted and your claim of common sense. Good luck to you. By the way, this is washing forum. I’m sure you drew professional enough to not be one of those guys that offering roofing, gutter installs, washing etc. We here are mainly professional washing contractors.

I wish every house had gutters mainly because I do roof cleaning and they make my job easier.

I do think gutters are a good thing. Unless you enjoy rain on your head as soon as you open your door. Or like water pooling around your house. Or a trench around your roof line after days of hard rain. Now I know why you gave up general contracting. Besides, who would really want it to be a flooded mess around your house rather than diverting it away, even if it didn’t cause any damage.
