Hey Ralph, does your 2nd machine sometimes not kick in for a few seconds? Mine are both 4 GPM @ 4000 psi, but when I’m rinsing, it usually takes 5-10 seconds for the full 8 GPM to kick in. Happens every time I pull the trigger. Does fine on the surface cleaner though.
When I first start them up, mine does that. But after I get them both going it remains steady. Thats something to do with the unloader. Do you have check valves on yours?

I’ll do some more playing with it tonight… Got an overnight cleaning in a few hours here
Russ mentioned that both unloaders should be trapped pressure style. That might help you trouble shoot

I’m not sure what hoops need to be jumped through, but I’ve heard that some municipalities will waive a portion of that bill if they know the water’s not going down the drain.
