Gpms vs tank

How u link them

Gator wash LLC

If you dig around in here with the search bar you can find a bunch of info but any of the distributors should be able to help you. I hear Russ At southside can make you one.

Ok so more or less its at twin hose

Gator wash LLC

You would join them with a high pressure y hose.
Hey Britton, the only reason I havenā€™t done it is the lack of a buffer tank. In theory I could hook both up to two separate spigots but if there is a hiccup in water supply I risk losing two pumps as opposed to one. For me, having 4 gpmā€™s is all the more reason to grab more projects and budget for the upgrade.
I canā€™t wait for 8 gpmā€™s!!!

I was thinking of that but im going get a 7gpm pressure pro soon

Gator wash LLC

Yeah I hear yah.
I have a 125 gal buffer tank and rarely have issues with supply. I highly recommend you splurge on a tank set up and get the check valve Y. You will be baffled at the difference. I went from 3 GPM to 8 and now I want more!!! I should see if I can add a 4 GPM machine to mine with the link. Maybe Iā€™ll call Russ or Bob

No itā€™s not a twin hose, it is a fairly simple small ā€œYā€ connection with check valves and connections. You still use your existing 3/8 pressure hose

I hear that!! 4 gpmā€™s is a few steps up from a 5 gallon bucket and a super soaker but I know Iā€™ll look back and laugh. I just keep telling myself that I must respect the growth process to appreciate the end result.

Growth is the frustrating part! Weā€™re in the same boat!

Russ got back to me so fast! Hereā€™s his response to linking 2 machines that arenā€™t the same GPM or PSI

ā€œYou can mate any 2 flows together to end up with the total output of both. Both machines must have trapped pressure unloaders without the easy start feature, and you must limit output pressure to the lesser of the two.ā€

Randy, Iā€™m in the same boat (not at 1k/day yet though!)ā€¦can you ballpark how long the AVERAGE driveway is taking you with the whisper wash?

Sent from my iPhone using Pressure Washing Resource

And it works great. I hook my 5.5 and 4.6 machines together for over 10 gpmā€™s.

So what you start them at the same time

Gator wash LLC

Oh and it cost the customer between $0.75 and $1.25 for the water to have their driveway cleaned. Around here anyway. I had a customer ask me to bring my own water because he couldnā€™t afford the cost. I laughed, and told him I would find out how much it was going to cost and I would take it off the bill. I figured out a ballpark figure based my water bill. I think I figured 50 minutes of runtime at 5.5 gpm. About 275 gallons.

You lay your hose on the ground, open up the ball valve. Crank up one, and then the other. Then you have a firehose in your hands. LOL.

You have a link to the part

Gator wash LLC

You have to call Russ at Southside Equipment. He puts it together. Itā€™s a bunch of fittings and whip hoses.

Ok

Do you use the same size tips, or did you adjust for the additional GPMs?

Sent from my iPhone using Pressure Washing Resource

The tips you use are geared towards your flow and desired pressure. Look into a nozzle chart and you will be able to find what you need for your flow and pressure needed. ā€¦more flow needs bigger tips
