Google ad words

I’ve never had luck with google adwords. Spent a couple thousand and generated less than half that. Facebook and word of mouth have been good. But the little $80 ad in the paper is what’s killing it.

Your cpc probably a lot lower.

Google doesn’t set what you pay, you do.

Mr. Pipeline has been good to me. Excellent customer service! Taylor, Chelsea, and even all good people.

I had to look. my average cpc is 5.82

Sounds like mostly concrete cleaning adwords then?

$7-8 is not bad per click. I have key words in my area going for up to $40 last i checked.

Washed about 30 houses from that paper advertising. It trumps all my ads. One of my competitors must be on here and saw that it was doing well. He ended up adding his too. But I won’t say my secret on why everyone says they call me first lol

Yeah, Old people (like me) still read them.
Those are the customers you want. You shoot for people who have money and aren’t capable of doing the work themselves. Treat them right. Socialize. Let them know you aren’t fly-by-night.Make them feel you are knowledgeable of the the task at hand. Do a great job, they will be watching you! Go out of your way to do extra’s (wash the door mat’s, the mailbox, maybe surface clean the patio…), and the word spreads like wildfire.(they tell their friends, neighbors, relatives…)
I have an advertising budget of ZERO. And I am in desperate need of reliable help.
Right now, I am trying to do this part-time and I have a sick feeling in my stomach because I have NO idea how I will get all this work done and then I get another call…
Try it, it works.

This guy gets it lol

Extras is a must for me  i wash off door mats, trash cans etc. I always take a rag with me when im removing my tape i give the bottom ledge of their window a good wipe down. Garage doors too its usually the first thing they see when they pull up. Sometimes its the little things people will care the most about.

Little tips i learn from watching racer work

I’m sure Rick has shown you all of the things I mentioned. He seems like a great guy. I’m sure you’ve learned a lot.
One time, I was washing in an elderly neighborhood on a particularly windy day and the owner was watching me trying to get a second story dormer rinsed and he noticed me on my tippy-toes a couple of times (I had no idea) he made mention of it. And he recommended me to the neighbors and they made mention of it, they recommended me to …
It’s the little things.

Yeah, if you’re patent attorney or divorce lawyer. If you have limited budget you want to maximize your number of clicks for your dollars spent

Typically we spend about 10% of our gross on advertising. We use google adwords, newspaper ads and yard signs. If you dont advertise you wont have business. Referrals only get you so far especially when your just starting out. Right now all we are doing is adwords. We are booked out thru all of may and the 1st week of June. Most days have anywhere from 6-10 jobs a day with 2 crews running. I get between 10-20 calls a day except on weds I only get maybe 3-6 calls. Most of the calls we get are either from organic search or adwords. I do get alot of calls from my truck wrap too.

Remember you need to spend money to make money. If you want your phone to ring then you need to advertise heavy and build up your business. 20% of my yearly gross comes from repeat customers.

Also use your customer list to create revenue. Call all your past customers to see if they need service again. We send email blasts out in early March and that usually fills up my April.

It was pressure washing related key word. Keyword cost is largely dependent on your area. Im in a highly competitive areas so the “bid” per word is higher. I was paying a guy with a budget of 1k a month, the only good thing he did was use the budget sparingly and didnt just burn through the 1K. Unfortunately i didnt get the result i wanted with him. Ive been looking at hiring another company.

Most online and print ads actually cost a lot to acquire a customer. Depending on what ad you run a acquisition cost of $40+ per customer is very common.

I’ve considered doing the PPC thing but there is only one company in my area that does use it I believe so I’ve wondered if that would increase or decrease the CPC for me.
