Really! It seems well built! Guess I’ll find out lol

3 months of regular guy is 1 month when your tipping the scales. We call it “the chris test”

Agree! Don’t own or care to…

Don’t worry lil buddy,I have two pairs of croc’s. Found myself at the Walmarts one day looking down at my 1 going out croc and 1 not going out croc, with black knee high dickie socks on ,wearing shorts. I said "enough is enough HOOP "

Been wearing the $30 Xtra Tuff shrimp boots… love them. Going to order a second pair and cut them down to the ankle and see how they work.

If not ill get the deck boots. But those $30 jokers are comfy.

All this hate on Crocs is completely unfounded. They are stylish, comfy, breathable, the ladies love them AND they are the only shoes where you can go from 2WD to 4LOW with the flip of a strap. So munch on that losers

I have been known to wear flip flops around the house. I bought a pair of tennis shoes in 1990 because I needed them at police academy. They lasted until I left the fire department in 2006. Maybe had 8 hours of wear time lol. I’m a boot guy.

Even in black or camo they aren’t manly but OH SO comfy!!!

Ok crocs are not stylish in anyway:joy::joy::joy:

  1. I will not be caught dead in public in them
  2. Ill never wear flip flops with that thing in between your toes
  3. My right big toe has been broke so many times its hideous and migjt scare my kids
  4. My wife made me get them because i hate shoes and walk around outside barefoot then track it in:joy::joy:

And im not being defensive at all about getting old and wearing crocs

A little off topic but not too bad… Find a good boot store and bring in a pair of your blown out boots or shoes. I don’t mean like a real Red Wing store where kids work but a place that actually repairs boots. Like a cobbler. I know a few guys who walk a little different and wear their boots out in a weird spot. They usually have a way to take care of it. Not only is it good for you boot but also your feet. They might not be able to do anything for yours but anything is worth a shot for comfort.

I’m a boot guy, too. That’s a $500 pair of Anderson Beans that I wore when I was a car salesman. I finally found a local cobbler so I’m dropping them off in a few weeks. Just have to wear my plain Jane Justin’s till then

@Sasquatch I just got myself a pair of xtratuf deck boots this weekend…they were so comfortable after washing all morning I wore them most of the day…no sore feet so far…and no ankle rub. Normally I wear Muck boots but their too hot for summer

I like mid ankle boots, I do a lot of walking and hate the slapping of the high boots.

This was my favorite boot: Muckboot Excursion Pro Mid
They are incredibly light weight and can wear them all day. They even had surprisingly good grip on roofs. The only problem i had with them was glue on the two piece design. They lasted about 8 months before the SH ate the glue holding them together. Got a few more months out of the by re gluing them.

I tried the Xtratuff boots but the size 12 was too big, and the size 11 was too small. They also are not the widest. My partner wears them and likes them though. Also what ever dye they use for the colors is not SH proof. The boot started off blue and are now black after a few month of wear.

I tried something new after the muck boots and am currently wearing Simms Riverbank Chukka
They are comfortable, but are heavier than the muckboots. Even there size 11 is too big so I have to wear thick socks. I dont hate these boots, but will probably go back to the muckboots after these wear out. The only reason i chose them was they look to have more of a one piece design so no glue failing.

Either way i highly recommend some high wool socks to work in. They will protect your ankles. Surprisingly the wool socks dont get too hot, but when its cold out they are still very warm.
