Flexzilla supply hose and mold

Yeah its hard to find down here… but its good. Me and dad would always fry it up and have pork roll, egg, cheese biscuits for breakfast. Make an excellent sandwhich too with some mayo and lettuce.

As crazy and it sounds, the Dollar Tree use to keep it in the frig in pre sliced packs… its was not half bad. Been years since ive checked though.

No idea what they’re saying but sounds cool

Well, thanks to @Greg755 for the swivel water hose fitting, and @Racer for the Flexzilla push. Last night I ordered both, AND, this little beauty:

What are you going ti do with 50 ft of 3/8 hose?

It’s for my little air compressor. Is 3/8 too much? THink I may mount it on the ceiling of my garage

Aha. I thought you were using it for a water hose

What’s the 5’ of 5/8 for?

It’s only 5’? Oh crap… just kidding. To leave attached to PW, making it easier to hook up and unhook hose (I still haven’t upgraded to hose reels yet, but soon) and to blow out on freezing nights. I made one from parts at HD, cost me over $30 by the time I was through. ALSO bought:

What’s the doobly do of glabberflast for?

yes, it is good hose, but a mold magnet if used in humid areas.

I am at the coast, I tell you it molds.
Feel free to to not heed my input.
You asked, I answered.

Average humidity here above 80% for a good part of the year. Been using 3 years and never seen a speck of mold. But I wipe mine down as I’m rolling up every time. Of course after I do I rinse trailer before I leave a job too most the time.

never seen a speck of mold?
Let’s not mislead folks.
You are wiping down your hose with bleach

Please post some pics of your molded hose for us to see.

LOL, now we’re getting picky are we. Seriously it’s just an old rag I keep on truck to wipe hoses with but I’m sure it has some on it occasionally though it does get rinsed out regularly. I’m more worried about keeping the mud and wet grass clippings off of it.

I’ll keep an eye out on the one I have by the dog pen. Every hose I’ve ever had there gets some on it.

@Grizz - next time you work with me you’re in charge of hose mold inspection. How’s that for delegating responsibility?

Ill start rolling it up with Clorox wipes and dry it with a hair dryer so it doesn’t get humid.
