We have offered fleet washing the last 4 years but it has been few and far between. I was actually thinking about removing fleet washing from our list of services a few weeks ago but just received a call for 12 box trucks trucks bi-weekly in my city so im thinking about taking another crack at it. What would you fleet guys charge for something like this? They specifically want them done on saturdays (which is fine. we work saturdays any way) what would you seasoned fleet washers charge for something like this? Ive seen guys claim as low at $8 a truck! If thats the case we would pass on something like this.
That $8 is an error in your typing correct?

If you’ve been offering fleet washing for the past 4 years you should have no problem figuring out a price! You should have a good idea of how long it’ll take to clean one, times that by the number of trucks that you’ll be washing. Time x hourly rate = your charge to the company.

If all you want is a price, I’d do it at $45 a piece…heck, I’d do it at $55 as well.

We have been offering it for the last 4 years but like i said few and far between. Generally its a 1 time wash deal in which case we are usually in the 125-150 range due to the fact that it usually consists of us hauling water to a site for a random cross country driver that wants it washed while he sits. Obviously theyre not going to go for $125 a truck on box trucks lol
no sir, i thought the same thing when i read it. But there actually are guys out there washing trucks for 8-10 a truck. I suppose it helps that they do 200+ trucks weekly but no way i ■■■■ id touch them for $8 a truck

I think our prices would be very similar for 12 straight trucks, if you’d stoop to doing that little at one site

That’s an interesting comment, I know a lot of the guys doing houses have a minimum that they require to hook up the trailer. I imagine the same would be true for fleet. Find the minimum you would want to make in that time period, add in expenses then add some profit on top. That’s your minimum rollout rate.
