It was just dirty, when the post treat dried completely it cleaned most of it. I got a pressure gauge and it it was high PSI so I had to change the nozzles for sure. But they are about 1-1.5 inches high on SC
I might just stick with the 25025 as I was getting 2600 psi. Which as everyone on here says is a good psi ranger for concrete
Like I said earlier, I too tried 25025 nozzles because I thought 2500 was best. I too read that multiple times on here. With my 4 gpm machine, it sucked on any concrete with algae or lichen. Gave up one time on a sidewalk and turbo nozzled the whole thing. I switched back to the 2502s and havenât looked back. If you werenât getting that driveway clean at over 3500 psi, youâre going to hate 2600.
Ultimately, itâs up to you to try and see for yourself.
2500-2600 psi is fine
Me personally, I do mostly Residential work⌠so for Resi I go 1800-2000 psi
For Commercial work, I like 2600-2800
Thatâs just me.
I like to mix my chems on the hot side and let them do the work, Dwell time is your best friend.
Every driveway / sidewalk is 100% unique & half of them were put in by below average contractors. After I got ahold of a cookie dough sidewalk a while back, I always open the trigger on my surface cleaner first thing & slowly open the ball valve paying close attention to the color of the runoff & the results. No milkshakes allowed.
@TheWizard what type of color and look would you get to know right away if it is too high of PSI?
Do you pre and post treat? And what is ur % coming out the gun?
Well, if itâs say, the color of whatever youâre running the surface cleaner on⌠thatâs probably not what you want to see.
I used and still do use when i need it, 2503s in my 16" for years with my 4 gal. I use 2506s in my 19" for my 8 gal. Use a stronger pretreat and a little extra dwell time for bad concrete. The pressure will just get you in trouble. Bleach is cheap, a new pour is definitely not. Would you use higher pressure on a house if your initial mix wasnât strong enough? Hopefully not, just boost the strength of the mix. Simple
Is milkshake too much sh is sprayed and has a milk shake consistency? I searched it in here before asking fyi. Haha.
