Estimate for First Home and Driveway combo

I wouldn’t do it if I had to ladder over the decks. But if there were steps, I’m fairly certain I could get $600-700 for this.

I did 3 two story houses today by myself from 1pm to 7:30 pm and I was rushing. Lots of travel time and many breaks in the truck with the ac on.

I’m mounting my hot water reels facing out the rear of the trailer for sidewalks and with my vac system they’d have to sitting about 4 1/2 feet from the trailer floor. I’m not sure how that’d work. I may have to figure something else out. I’ve got a 16 foot trailer and will have very little floor space once I get it completed. How far up are yours

My ladder rack about 6’ ft off the ground and they hang from it.

That’s a good looking rig. I know you’re proud of it. I can tell you have a lot of thought and work in it.

What size trailer is that? Great looking setup.

It won’t mess the machines up. By idling down it will pull a stronger mix. Also. If you run a 1.8 (1-3gpm injector) on a 4gpm or 5.5 gpm idled down it will pull chems like a freight train. Good if you don’t have a 12V or just don’t feel like using it.

We’d never be able to pull off those numbers here in south florida. That driveway people will cry if you tell em 90

It till mess up an engine. Do it if you like, but don’t give bad advice that will effect others

I don’t understand how it will mess up the motor or pump if it’s just used for soaping. Can you explain?

1 the pump is designed to run at a specific rpm
2 the motor has a “power ban” that you will be well below at a lower rpm. When you let off the trigger the pump will bog the motor building up to the set psi on the unloader. This is hard on the motor.
3 the motors are air cooled and have a sized fan that will barley keep them cool at full rpm. Lower the rpm and you lower the cfm the fan will pull across the motor.

If you don’t understand, why are you arguing with Brodie, myself snd common sense? The answer is or there and I explain why about every 3 months. I’ll pass this time.

I had no intention of starting an argument and I don’t think that was your intention either. Everyone does things a little different, but I will maintain that idling them down to pull a stronger mix is the fast & loose way of doing it for your machines sake.

If you want a stronger mix, pick up a $30 proportioning injector.

Chris Shchertz explained up above why my personal opinion is it’s not the best route to take.

Not arguing with anyone. Just stating what can be done. Didn’t realize it would cause any issues. I make as much money as possible with my Motors and consider them expendable.

I can run my engine without oil. It’s expendable. Like I said, it’s your equipment, do what makes you happy with it. Just don’t give bad advice for others to follow

Guys I’m taking @Alabama’s side on this. There are a lot of air cooled engines out there including a Porsche.

Per my Honda GX690 owner’s manual page 5 - see below

I was surprised you don’t idle down @squidskc when shutting down. Do you get many backfires when you do it that way?

See my post below, long as you keep engine in power band which is pretty wide you’re not hurting it. I rarely ever run mine at full power, usually just 80-90% unless I’m surface cleaning.

I figured out the other day on the phone with ibs that I’m over spinning my pump. At wife open throttle I was pushing 4K with a number 9 and still bypassing about a gallon a minute. I ordered a tachometer so I can set it properly. Pumps not rated for that so I’m just glad it’s an udor and didn’t crap out on me…

Stepping up to #10 nozzles and setting the rpm Tuesday.
