Y’all gotta use some discretion! It’s awesome not MAGIC!:rofl:. There was no paint left on those gutters, only oxidation, :flushed: First time I used gutter grenade same thing happened!
They will both remove ALL the oxidation :rofl:

I tell customers all the time, “I’m a pressure washer, not a magician!” And. “That’s a Honda GX, not a time machine!”

It’s @Hotshot’s fault.

Iv learned something , if you spray straight water on the gutters, and it lays completely smooth and flat, it doesn’t bead up at all, probably not safe to put anything even a brush on them.

I learned there’s a reason I’ve never offered gutter cleaning for 5 years.

I had some just yesterday that I told the lady hers were so worn down that it wouldn’t do any good other than to repaint them. I rarely do gutters apart from a normal house wash anymore.

Why is it my fault ?? I ain’t the official spokesman for Awesome ,@ShinedUP is. Blame him and his girlfriend. :joy:

@BigJake ive gotten to where i talk the customer out of gutter cleaning. When ever i say “those black lines will leave a shadow after i clean them” " i can remove them with a chemical i have but it takes off a microscopic layer of paint and if the paint is thin or older there is a chance it could expose the metal" they usaully say “oh dont worry about it” lol. Sometimes they will say ya go ahead and clean them we will have them repainted if that happens. Thats when i dont mind doing the gutters.

Same thing I do. I tell em it’ll basically melt a layer of paint off. That usually scares them enough.

Just ordered a kit today. I wanted to order more because of the shipping pricing structure but decided not to. I’m looking forward to using this stuff. I did the math and it’s cheaper the what I was doing with the purple power adding hydroxides. I’m curious to see how it does on animal fats.

All it is, is mainly Sodium hydroxide. Read the SDS on it.

I did. I also talked to the sales rep and he told me some other stuff about it regarding detergents and cleaners and how they enhance or work together to make the hydroxide more effective. Any truth to it? Who knows. I might still add some potassium for the dumpster pads. It was $2/gallon lower then me buying purple power and adding hydroxides. That’s if it’s as hot as they say it is, but that seems to be the consensus here.

Yep.
Its super hot @Harold, Remember to mix it cold , comes in 2 pails ,1 liquid, 1 powder. And don’t mix it with anything galvanized coated like a bucket mixer at Home Depot or alike lol, Ask me how I know.
