Downstreaming Remote Controller

were you happy with the results of force feeding the injector? :slight_smile:

hey guys @Racer @Innocentbystander and others who were around when I first got on here two years ago. Remember my invention that I wanted to create this when I first started and everybody told me it was a dumb idea? Well you were right I ended up getting the shertz box which is fantastic. I do personally notice a significant decrease in rinsing performance even with the water coming through the injector. This is why when I use the injector I run the 5 to 8 gallon/ minute one. I still like this idea but I have no use for it anymore.

The FlowPro does this (much more elegantly).

I run an undersized dual barb injector and would not be happy with a traditional soap remote. FlowPro was well worth the investment for me. And apparently it also saves me some fuel (per William’s igx fuel usage experiments)

Does it bypass when not soaping for full rinse power?

Yes that’s exactly what it is. It’s a 12v remote ball valve actuator.

Do you have a pic?

I’ve tidied it up a bit since installing the new machine. I’ll try and take some fresh pics soon.

Ran 2 of the Flow Pro boxes all this last season and they are amazing. My favorite part is that the movable part (the valve) never touches bleach. We saved tons of time, they are worth it!

All is well! Been buried in snow the last few days. How have you been?

I haven’t hit a lick since the first of November. I shut the crew down just before Christmas and told them we’d start back mid February. Built some trailers, built some skids for my landa guy, done a lot of hunting, drove all of route 66, drank a lot of coffee, that about sums it up. Still on the fence about working this year, been nice taking some time off.

Wait, you casually drop something like that and don’t elaborate? Enquiring minds want to know!

@dcbrock Give him a minute. We’ll have him enjoying pizza any day now. He’s well on his way.

Flew to LA with my youngest, started at Santa Monica pier and drove 10 days to Chicago down RT 66. Middle soon wanted to go to yellow stone so wife took him there for a week. Got lots of pics but I’m at my cabin with limited coverage

We only did about 300 miles a day, lot of stopping and looking. I love a road trip by myself though. Audio book and cruise control. I left early one morning from Raleigh, NC, drove to Cleveland Ohio to have a cup of coffee with Bob from pressure tek and came back home about an hour later

Think I have a million or so miles on her I noticed a crack and had a small leak, anyone have a link to some replacements. Seem to be struggling with finding these. Thanks.

@Infinity @cmturner
what size machines/hoses are you guys running those on? Are they still holding up for you? Thinking about doing some tests, although it would probably have to be on my one 5.5gpm rig, which will be an 8gpm as soon as they get me a new PW, lol

I see there are a few different options also, which ones are you guys using?
