Downstreaming a Dirty House or Property

I use dwell time over stronger mixes all the time. A 1% mix will take down nasty lichen with enough time. I had a house plus detached garage not too long ago. The back of the garage was straight green with huge chucks on it. I hit it first, then left it and did the rest of the property. An hour or so later and all the lichen was white, so light brushing to get the chucks off, one more coating and rinsing and it’s done. Typically, I don’t wait that long or let it dry, but sometimes it’s needed. Every house I do I start with the worst side, so if it needs a longer dwell time, no problem, I go work another side. If you do the worst side last, you’ll be standing around loosing money.

I use the 2515 for curbs, cutting in on driveways, etc… Otherwise I soap & rinse with 40’s for the most part.

Exactly, that’s why soap is shutting off with the 2315’s like you mentioned. It’s on the borderline on/off so after 200’ it won’t draw.

I know I know, 2.5 GPM but it worked! DS straight SH, no surfactant let it sit for 15 mins, rinse.

They had those vines on the left side but they would not come off.

Were you able to hit the peak from the ground?

The answer to how to get vines off is to take them down when they replace the siding. :slightly_smiling_face:

I had to get on a ladder but I was about 4-6 ft off the peak! Also you are so right about removing those vines, might as well rebuild the house at when you see those!

You missed some spots at the top of the chimney

For real though, I wouldn’t have left those spots. Did you get that cleaned up after the pic?

That is not going to come off with the next rain. I would not accept payment on an incomplete job, much less post pics of it
