Downstream QC connector not going on

Looked at several sites and the cheapest I’ve seen so far are on this site: https://www.powerwash.com/accessories/quick-couplers-o-rings.html?cat=190

For SS 1/2 inch, about $8 for socket, $4 for the plug.

PressureTek seems to be like $25 for the socket, $12 for the plug. Quite a difference, so maybe there is a big difference in quality or something, not sure.

Probably the Hanson. They are the nicer one but i dont use them on everything.

Don’t you want 3/8" and 1/4". I guess you might be using 1/2" for your whip?

Don’t laugh, but I don’t know which size I have  Going to measure tonight. Based on what you said I’m assuming I will find that I have 3/8" or 1/4".

1/2 are expensive i orders some thinking i would use on my 12volt and never nedded them.

Most have 3/8" hose from unloader to bottom of gun. Lance end of gun is normally 1/4". That’s what all your nozzles will be. Some run 1/2" whip lines from pump outlet to unloader block but I believe most just stick to 3/8".

Alright, at the risk of being banned from this forum for being too much of a newbie, here goes:
I measured my QCs and they seem to be 5/8”. I haven’t seen that size listed anywhere so I must be measuring wrong. Here are pictures showing 5/8” wide plug thread and coupler opening. Can someone please explain how I’m supposed to measure?

Measure the ID and take a pic of the mpt side

3/8 for your hose and 1/4 for your nozzles. You’re not banned just suspended until further notice :joy:

I understand and accept my punishment :joy: And at the risk of you upgrading my suspension to a lifetime ban, how do you know that based on my pictures? Clearly I’m measuring the wrong thing, but I googled first and found something that literally had diagrams telling me to measure what I measured in my last two pics, so I’m still pathetically confused :upside_down_face:

Cuz we so smart. Lol
Humor,humor.
When ya do this every day it just becomes second nature bubby.

Go to Home Depot and familiarize yourself with 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" pipe thread. That’s it, it is really that simple. You don’t need to know how to measure it just what it looks like, feels like and ummm tastes like
