Honestly…I have no idea as far as a 12v fan. I put the inverter in to also run a trickle charger for our roof system, and to run lights at night if need be.
Ok. Thanks for all of your help, GuyB!

Thoughts on this? So I just came across a box truck just in these pics. $800 bucks, runs good has 250k I had plans to move to box truck but there’s pros and cons but for the price would go for it?
1 ) $800 doesn’t usually buy much why is it so cheep what’s wrong with it. Remember your putting you livelihood in it . If it spend more time in the shop than on the road you’ll never make money with it.
2) check the payload capacity a few thousand pounds can add up really quick one you figure in your equipment plus chem plus water
3) it wouldn’t surprise me if that thing is under powerd trucks back then weren’t meant for highways is no fun taking an hour to get somewhere on the back roads instead of 15 minutes on the hwy. years ago I bought a Mitsubishi cab over and it was great as long as I didn’t have to go more than a few miles 55mph was all it had
@florida_condo_cleani thanks for input, Well reason $800 it’s my neighbor. he was using a good bit doing a lot concrete work but hasn’t used it for about 3 months and said, he didn’t want it to just set there not being used. He was gonna put it on craigslist for $2000 but he said if I wanted it he’d let me have it for $800.
Drives really well for 1989 took it out this evening still loaded down with all his concrete equipment up and down hills did good. I was thinking of getting it going through it if I didn’t think it would work out I could resale.
Just thinking and seeing what yalls thoughts were maybe help me make up my mind. He has done a lot to help me get stuff going. He just thought it would be a good truck and he said he had 800 in it and if I wanted it he’d give to me for that not looking to make money off me.
Ventilation is biggest drawback. Put an inverter and fan in it. 3ft gull wing RV doors on sides where machines are mounted.
250k miles is a lot. How much more do you think it will last.
It’s a Toyota, it’s just broke in lol. Rebuilt motor for $ 3.5k when it needs it and its still a deal. I wouldn’t own a dually anymore though
That’s a sweet little truck. I’d buy it today
Thanks guys, yea I was thinking it had potential heck for 800 I’d hate to pass it up. It has the 3.0 v6 in it
Those were notorious for blowing head gaskets. Google it.
Thanks @Infinity I already thought about doing all gasket just for it being that old didn’t see any oil or anything leaking but I can get whole gasket kit for $56 so if I’m gonna go through it and everything I was thinking of doing gaskets
If it’s not leaking and non of the gaskets are bad why bother. Let a shop give it a once over btw . Don’t buy a $56 gasket kit it will be junk especially if that includes the head gaskets spend the extra $ ( when it’s time ) and get the gaskets from the dealer . In most cases engines especially quality engines like Toyota won’t blow head gaskets endless there overworked or the cooling system is not working correctly
I would not spend any money that you don’t have to especially once you get an estimate to wrap that thing.
Blown head gasket is about $3k that’s why I went with a rebuilt on my 4.0 tacoma
3k for a head gasket . Why so much was the block damaged ?
It’s about a 20 hour job, not counting whatever work the heads need. Usually better to go with new heads once you get that far
Time to start going through real good. Does anyone recommend anything I should put on the floor?
