First alt chem I came up with for gain and bleach was purp power with a couple squirts of quat would be a ripping house wash. I’m surprised everyone in this industry uses bleach. Even purp boosted with percarb and some tsp would rip.
Quats are in 99% of disinfectant sprays, I’ve never heard of any law or any company having to keep record of sales of quat
Is anyone selling colloidal micells in this industry yet?
Places like Walmart don’t have to keep track of pesticide sales. However, pesticide manufacturers have to keep track of where they send pesticides. Also, certain pesticides are regulated to only be used in certain industries. For example, if the label says you can only use it in a pool to kill algae you can’t use it on a deck to kill fungus.
All pesticide labels have a phrase that basically says “it’s illegal to use this product in a manner that isn’t on the label”…these are the pesticide laws known as FIFRA.
If you haven’t been a chemical manufacturer of pesticides then you wouldn’t be aware of these rules. I don’t find it shocking at all that they wouldn’t sell it to him.
Using it as a surfactant wetting penetrating anything to loosen up the bond it’s got to the siding. Same reason you would use gain. Purp would work better than most laundry soaps.
Don’t use laundry detergent, use a surfactant made for what you are doing. Adding degreaser to your mix can cause problems if your washing any oxidized siding or aluminum. Everyone does it a certain way for a reason.
Purple Power has a high % of Sodium hydroxide, which has a PH of 13+, which will ruin and corrode most metals, will strip oxidation, highly toxic to plants and waterways. If you need to cut the grease on an engine, strip paint on wood it’s good, but not for house washing.
You bring purple power to the rubber scrubbers thread you’ll be beat with a bug brush and mouth cleaned out with a rim brush or visa versa, Oooh the shame for buying such liquid wimpy garage !
Ps… For all the newbie fellas ,don’t use my degreaser on a house wash, you’ll have a bad day. Wash on ! Y’all SH slinging cow pokes lol.
I googled it earlier just because I saw the name of the artist when my cursor hovered over the picture. I thought it was an actual brick house until I read about it.
