Decent Softwash gun and add on's

I’m working on some upgrades for my setup this year and I was wanting some opinions for a decent gun. I purchased one from Northern tool and to my dismay the handle began leaking by the second job. (I know some of you loathe NT) I plan on buying one for softwash. I don’t want a wand for this one just gun and quick connect to my j-rod. Feel free for any other input. Im working on a trailer build too with 12v set up due to many stucco homes in the area. Thanks in advance. You guys are awesome! Again just looking for some input on decent equipment add ons. Yes I’ve read post. Not asking for anyone to waste their time just looking for some quick advice.
Oh yeah I have a belt drive 5gpm

Suttner. The 2315 has a ceramic ball and the easy pull trigger.

The 2315 is a great gun. Don’t skimp on a decent gun, they do more work than we give them credit for.

Thank you both I’ll check it out. I’m on pressure Tek website right now. I want a whisper washer classic but 600+ is eh well I haven’t convinced myself yet lol.

@PWP5gpm after the price Is forgotten the quality remains.

I have a softwash gun with a short PVC wand and it came with an actual poly gun. I see a lot of guys just using a ball valve. What is everyone’s preference and why would ball valve be better (except for obviously not having to hold the trigger)

I plan on using a pvc for my 12v. For my pressure washer I just purchased the gun mentioned above. I d/s on my house washes, but I need a hotter mix at times for stucco and I may start roof washing this year.

Having both is crucial. When I first started I was force feeding my ds injector and Thought it was enough pushing 2%. Once I got my soft wash rig I saw the power of 4% and realized I don’t know what I don’t know!

@Seandz downstreaming for speed, 12v for versatility.

Exactly. Especially with the Schertz box!

I feel you. I called whisper wash, southside, and I think one other (but can’t remember who) to see what the difference was between the WW19" classic $624-649 and the WW ultra 19" $480-529, and after talking to them I still don’t get the price disparity. Maybe someone here can enlighten me.

Here’s an entire thread about it: Whisper wash. Classic or Ultra? - #5 by SimplyCleanPowerWash

Thank you, but that thread has outdated information on it. I say this because it doesn’t reflect what is on WW website now. Now there is an extreme duty classic, the regular classic, different colored classics, classics with different colored skirts, ultra with wheels and ultra without wheels but with skirt. The thread you linked didn’t mention an ultra with a skirt, just one with wheels and no skirt. I called WW to ask them, but had trouble communicating with the person I talked to. I thought it would be a simple product x has this and product y has this, but the guy made it seem the same, which further confused me. Besides, now they offer 2 nozzle and 4 nozzle bars with the cleaner.

The only big difference I can tell is the extreme has aluminum housing vs abs, and the ultra has painted stainless handles. Why is there a 120 dollar difference, I can’t see it. Swivel? or is it how the handles attach? Not very descriptive on the website.

Maybe I am being dense and can’t seem to grasp what the big difference is.

Aluminum is more expensive than abs. That’s probably the biggest difference. Also not sure why they would paint stainless, seems counterintuitive

Well I found a great video on the differences here by @squidskc
I wonder if anyone uses a combo ball valve and trigger gun to add the feature of regulating pressure/flow?

What size machine do you have? My Ultra Clean works with my 5.5 well, although I’m still trying to solve the striping issues.

Get the WW Classic 19” and don’t look back. Small investment on the return you will make with it over the trouble free years. Way worth it.

Called them again today, got someone I could understand. Here is the difference “the handles are made with cheaper parts” according to them just to make it more affordable. $120 for better handles/connection.

Did you go with 2 nozzle or 4? I read something you posted about that before but can’t remember.

You wouldn’t want to do that with a ball valve. They are meant to be on of off. You would chew through the seat for the ball. You could look into doing that with a needle valve but that’s not exactly the correct way to do it either. Reduce your pressure with opening up the orifice on the nozzle like I’m sure you’ve read before.
