This was using a 12v softwash gun not pressure. Does your statement still apply?
Squids video talked about the benefit of the ball valve over the trigger is the ability to reduce flow. Still not sure how that would work on a pressure triggered pump, seems like it might make it turn it off unless the accumulator was a buffer between the two and the pump didn’t know there was not enough pressure.
Ball valves look at a ball valve like you would a switch for your lights in your home. On/off. Don’t reinvent the wheel, use proper specced nozzles to get desired results. Keep things simple, one day you will have to problem solve things and you’ll be asking your self where do I start.
Alright I got know ,Its been bugging me for awhile now. Looks like a 60’s Camaro grill but I’m not sure, and what’s the power plant @MuscleMyHustle ? Chevelle maybe ?
While spraying sensitive areas with 4% sh using a 7gpm 100psi pump. Again squids video mentioned that’s the benefit of the ball valve over the trigger gun. On a 12v softwash system.
Edit: the topic of this thread is called decent softwash gun lol not sure how I derailed it
@Hotshot & @MuscleMyHustle I actually would like to know myself. What you got there on that photo? Washing is just for some green but cars make my heart flutter.
Amen, sorry to go off the rail abit on your thread but it’s time to tell us what’s under the skirt.
Btw get the Sutter 2315 man you won’t regret it. Also pressuretek is an awesome place to deal with ,I hate shopping all around for 100 different things, pressuretek is mostly always cheaper but the response time and care they give are incomparable. also EBAY is a good place for PW stuff.
@Hotshot@PWP5gpm it’s a turbo 6.2 LS3. 1400hp on e85. Detuned to a little over 800hp otherwise it’s undrivable. This engine has been in many cars I’ve owned, Originally built it to put into a 69 Camaro I used to have but could never bring myself to tear it apart.
@Hotshot it used to be in a Holden commodore, there readily available and cheap here to play around with and cut up. 80’s 90’s cars I don’t mind playing with. A good clean 69 camaro here can fetch 120k and a lot less if guys like me have there hands on them
Ahh hell ,Stick around dude, You’ll learn a ton on here and already have. You’ll give good sound advice in time I think. You just go 100 miles an hr on so many topics that your gonna turn your head into jello man. I’ll give you an A for all the reading you’ve done and hanging in on here every day and having thick skin.
