I heard there was a bad accident a few miles outside of town yesterday. As soon as I saw a picture of the car in the paper today I knew it was my customer. I’ve done several jobs for her and washed her house last fall. Just so weird to think about. This was only a few miles from her house.

I’ve had so many of mine die over the years, lost count. We have a lot of elderly customers.
It’s just weird when it’s a car accident I guess.

That’s terrible. It definitely wouldn’t be the way I’d want to go. Prayers for the family.
Side note: Those have got to be the heaviest firefighters I’ve ever seen. I mean, don’t they have to certify for fitness or something?

I was pretty heartbroken last week when I heard a customer died 2 days after I got his house and deck washed.
When I washed it I told him it should stay clean for a couple years and he smiled real big and said “good deal, that’s all I’ve got left” then told me he had cancer.
I scheduled his neighbor for a deck wash when I did his and he told me what happened.

I know what you mean. I’m actually doing a huge job for an older gentleman right now. He’s trying to get his gigantic house ready to sell because he has serious heart problems and is told me he has no idea how long he’ll live and wants his wife to be able to sell it easily.

Haha, well to clarify, my biggest issue is the response time. It can be 30 min or more in the county. Watching the NFL taught me that big fellers can move fast when they need to! No issues with that!

Been with mine since I was 16. I know all about getting comfortable and letting things slip a bit. Yeah, my winter project list is long but right at the top is go to the damn gym.
I went shopping with the boss a couple days ago. I got hit on in Walmart and then again at Sam’s. Made my freaking day but the boss was NOT happy. The sad part is the Walmart one was an employee and she was so big she was actually riding around in one of those carts while she worked…still made me feel good hahahaha

Oh Lort. Yeah, I would’ve been on house arrest for a week. The Sam’s Club one was attractive and the boss was like 20 feet away just staring daggers through her. She’s asking me “so what did SHE want huh?” and I’m like uh…khakis?

I had to wash a house of an x girlfriends mother a week ago and she was all mad thinking she was gonna be there. I told her to “calm down I put a ring on your finger and not hers”

My lady knows I’m not going anywhere. Nobodyceose would put up with my BS and she knows all of my favorite recipes and I’m just not willing to put in the work to train up another woman on how to cook for me LOL

That’s some blackmail if I’ve ever seen any. If she’s as feisty as you say she is I’d have to grab some popcorn for that video. Talk about backhanding the crap out of you. Good thing I’ve been married long enough to know us guys need to stick together.
You guys just need to wait another 10 years. They’ll be glad to see you getting hit on. By then you’ll be married long to enough to where she knows you’re not going anywhere and it makes her feel good because her husband must still look somewhat decent.
