Curious about my pricing

Thought i was giving a customer a pretty good deal mainly because i wanted to get my foot in the door of this neighborhood and she said i was very high. Zillow says 2800 sqft
Im not worried about it and im sticking to my price but im curious on where yall would be at. I told her $320

Sounds like she’s cheap and can’t afford you. I’d be about the same, not any lower

She said she will call me later this summer for cost reasons. I bet when she calls around to some other guys she will realize i gave her a great deal.

Wait serious question… You would be at $200 for that?

Well you could knock it out way quicker than me. It would take me 3-4 hours to do :joy::joy: i hope she doesnt see your price lol

I’d be at $450, maybe more

That’s pretty much the going rate around here. Keep in mind, there are probably 50 contractors in Wake county.

Id was thinking $400 but ya that upper porch would be troublesome.

Maybe she will call racer and hear his price lol

Wait. Would you be using a hydrant or water spigot?

If there was a hydrant within 300 ft they would definitely use that if it was in Raleigh

Doesn’t matter here like IBS said. Lots of folks waiting to just work. There is a new $99 guy up to 3k sq ft now. In the great advice of Page, walk away. It’ your rate buddy, stick to it. But I would say $250-275. Cause I hate ladders

You could probably get more money if you talked to them for awhile and explained processes and stuff. That’s not my cup of tea. I’ll take a lower price if I can keep phone talk under a minute

Ya im not worried about it. She said she heard i was the best:joy::joy::joy: she will probably still hire me later. I just wanted to get here house because it looks like it will be amazing when i clean it being solid white and i was going to put my five arounds out.

Just had me thinking because she not the first to flinch at my estimate. I read if your closing more than 80% of your jobs then your price is to low.

Totally agree. Im usaully a pretty likable guy as well so that also helps.

Id be about the same, maybe a tad more and i wouldnt touch the 2nd story porch other what i can reach from ground.

This is a pretty important distinction. When I wash a house I get every nook and cranny. I’d be putting a ladder up there to get the house-facing side of the railing and the pillars. Don’t see how you could get that from the ground. I’d be at $350-400
