Contractortexter

Been getting phone calls and now emails. Does anyone have any exposure to CONTRACTORTEXTER at contractortxter, com?

I haven’t heard of them, but I got a sneakin’ Suspicion you would get a lot of leads who tell you they have no idea what you talking about :joy:

Not a bad idea if it works.

My wife is a real estate agent and she uses a similar service to contact people back. When they reach out to her through her website.

I get like 10 calls a week from a computer that says “Hi, I’m Stan with your local carpet company…” and I hang up so I don’t hear the rest, BUT, if I started receiving random texts with a specific company name I’d probably call and cuss them out for all the calls and texts…just be careful you don’t give your company a bad name by using this company.

I thought the exact same thing when I first read it. I hate it when I receive automatic texts from companies who I didn’t give permission to do so. I don’t mind so much if it’s just a quick one saying thanks for a purchase or something. Although, part of my spitefulness might be due to a text I keep receiving once a week asking if I need to purchase any of those blue pills even though I’m not at that age yet nor have I ever ordered any. I have no idea where it’s coming from and have replied with “stop” along with every other name in the book.

Younger generations might have a different outlook since they have basically grown up with cell phones and text messaging as a main way to communicate.

I should add though it’s interesting and definitely worth checking into more.

Thanks for sharing George!

When I was replying to his offer, I reread the offer and discovered that the purpose of this service is to get
to them first when they respond to, or ask for estimates from lead generation services like HomeAdvisor. Once I figured out theior purpose, I couldn’t wait to sign up, which I will do this evening.

I can’t tell you how many more deals I would have won in the past year (spent 10k last year w/ HA, earned about $100k) had I not been beat out by somebody who was faster on the draw than me. Rule #1 at HA, the first caller has about a two times advantage over the later callers.

Somebody enlists HA to get them estimate(s), they send my the lead (and usually two more pros), and the info goes to this company that sends a text that leads them to my website and hopefully an appointment before anybody else can call them,

For someone who subscribes to a lead generating website, and for $40 a month that thing is GOLDEN!!!.

That’s awesome George! I take my comment back about people possibly getting upset with texts because here they would be expecting to be contacted so it wouldn’t bother them at all.

I agree that it could be golden. Nice find!

Signed up tonight and man am I excited. NO MORE lost deals because someone else got to them first. No more trying to drive and read the latest lead information and rushing like heck to be the first to call. No more missed opportunities because nI couldn’t hear the phone over the equipment. Their platform IS slick, and I am eager to get this thing going. I’m really glad they emailed me. Because they’re new, they really don’t know what they’re sitting on, and neither does anyone else. Until everybody else discovers this thing, it will be SWEET!! Will take several days for them to set things up.

THEY OFFER A 30 DAY FREE TRIAL, and if you drop Mr Sparkle when you order, they’ll give me another free month. Just sayin’

Hi all, Uri from ContractorTexter here. First a big thanks to George for posting and signing up. As he mentioned, our goal is to help you all connect with your leads instantly via the texts. Since the leads are putting in a request, it’s not a spam text, and we see a very high % of leads (~38%) that engage with the texts. Since they are instant and automatic, you’re guaranteed to be seen before competitors.

For anyone that wants to learn more / book a demo - please email me at Uri@ContractorTexter.com - thank you!

Uri, could you please pm me some more details on what exactly it is your company offers?

This is intriguing.

My first thought upon reading a few days ago was that it was some random lead generator, and you’d be better off spending the money on scratch offs.

But if they’ve developed some sort of script that can harvest inquiries from sites like HA and expedite the delivery of those inquiries to targeted providers, then it will be a gold mine.

My neighbor is really big into the flipping/reselling game and he subscribes to a service that does something (I think is) similar. The service monitors websites of major retailers and any massive price drops trigger an alert via email. But I understand how they do that…they have a program that constantly mines the websites for price data. I’m not fully understanding how this service gets their info from sites like HA. At any rate, if it’s legit and if it puts you front of the line for a viable lead, then it’s a game changer.

Let us know how it works out.

Hi - I’d be happy to explain in more detail - but my account here was deleted for some reason, so I can’t send PMs. Can you please shoot me a quick email and I’ll go into more detail - uri@contractortexter.com.

So it’s clear - the way it works is we integrate with the lead gens, so as soon as the leads are sent to you, they’re sent to us as well, then the Instant Text is sent out. We have two more texts that are sent over 2 hours. Everything is customizable of course, and you are notified when leads engage (by texting back or clicking a link in the text going to your site). We’re seeing a lot of success with this because getting leads on the phone is real tough and emails aren’t seen quickly. We offer a 30 day free trial and then it’s $39/mo for 100 leads/mo.

Would be happy to show you all quick demos - please reach out! Thanks!

I am eager to get started. I expect to to up my HomeAdvisor budget because of this service. My Google Adwords are performing nicely, but HA is still my bread and butter. With these guys (ContractorTexter) HA might become my filet mignon.

Does HA really work for you? Ive heard such mixed reviews and i view it like thumbtac… worked for a while then spent a ton of money with no winning bids

I spent just under $10,000 with HA in 2018. I began Mr. Sparkle August 1 of 2017, so I had no track record whatsoever when a mentor here, @squidskc, posted about his love for HA. I CAN SPEAK FOR PROBABLY 95% of SUCCESSFUL HA PROS who will admit a love/hate relationship with the service.

DOESIT WORK YOU ASK? I grossed just under $100k last year. I worked hard, and the experience has given me a depth of knowledge that I could only derive through a seemingly endless supply of leads.

Here’s the problem with with HA : most of the leads are given out to three “PRO”S, and your odds of a successful interaction with the prospect go down pricipitously unless you make the first contact.

THE BRILLIANCE OF URI’S “ContactorTexter” IS THAT WITH HIS SERVICE YOU WILL ALWAYS MAKE FIRST CONTACT (at least until your competitors discover ContractorTexter).

I’m fighting HA right now… (legally soon)

I think the bad ones made it to my area. I can’t in good conscious recommend HomeAdvisor anymore.

My wife gets leads from Realtor dot Com the same way as HA. They go out to three agents and her text back service automatically texts back a response to the lead. She says that doesn’t mean squat to a potential buyer. It’s still the first agent to actually reach out personally by phone that gets the client. Sending a “placeholder” doesn’t work usually.
