California Regulations

California has a lot of restrictions that your probably not familiar with, which in your case I’d say your lucky. Didn’t know you were serious about the 500 dollar cap but it’s a reality. And I don’t expect anyone to jump and answer. If someone is willing to give info I appreciate it. I’m just not trying to go in circles and not get an answer. But you have a good one.

For some reason the message option doesn’t show up.

Lol might have to blow the cob webs off the v8 and send California boy some premium greenhouse gas his way

You are a brand new member and haven’t earned the privilege to private message yet. Again, listen carefully Jedi, lots of us aren’t in California so regarding most laws and documentation, we aren’t too sure. Someone in Cali will find this thread and give you some advice. But if you want advice on literally anything else when it comes to the wash life, don’t be so quick to throw a negative comment. These guys have DAYS of read time vs an hour or 3 like yourself and have done this stuff way longer than us. They might be a username to you but, they are great mentors and hold lots of wise knowledge about the field that they are more than happy to share if you are polite and just need help. This forum is not Facebook or a different forum where half the advice is crap. This forum is almost a decade of the best professionals giving the best advice based on what works and experience. Just saying  best of luck researching

Well said…

Hey bro. I’m just starting out as well. Do you have any advice for me.

I am starting business. I saw all the regulations and laws. But I went ahead created an LLC, got insurance, and started by doing friends and family driveways, house washes, and brick/ wood fencing.
I use a submersible pump with 1 inch tubing and sandbags and pump it into a part of the location where it’s mostly dirt and bushes.
No bleach so I’m not killing plants. Still learning everything though.

What kind of chemicals do you use?

Hey guys. I’m new here as well. I just introduced myself on the forum yesterday. I’m a “California boi” as y’all’s say. And I’m trying to do my research to get going here in Southern California. Some guys out East may say CA isn’t a state to start a small business with small engines, but it’s not like that. YES it’s hell here trying to get Anything going if it’s not making the fat cats rich, but there are more than a few guys out here running businesses like this. Im just trying to get that know-how to make it myself. I’m a hustler- never doubt a CA BOY! It’s tough out here, & we play rough. Hope to hear all of it- the good the bad and thee ugly! Thanks fellas!

What’s the latest word on small engine bans out there?

And what is a boi?

It’s an invasive species. First, they ruin their home state then they migrate to states with freedom and liberties in order to ruin those as well. It appears they have even started infiltrating the online forums in an effort to tear down the pillars of knowledge that exist there.

Only kidding, @Santos. Welcome to the forum. California is pretty hard to run an effective business but you’re right there are plenty of folks doing it out there. Good luck to you :+1:

Haha! Sorry guys! “Boy”!

Yeah lotta tree hugging going on here. Makes me sick. Wrong leaders because of the wrong voters. And yes those moving out into other states are taking with them the same liberal mindset and ways, infesting the rest of the country. But those are the people moving out for cheaper rent/mortgages- not because they’re tired of being under the thumb of this BS government down here. So you’re right to be wary of those people. On the other side, we’re here trying to make it right again here. Anyway- thanks for the welcoming! Looking forward to learning from y’all. :+1:t4:
