Bypass my version

I feel like a piece of material over the motor to catch and redirect the drip onto the trailer flooring would work. I have a ton of the g floor leftover

That doesn’t fix the weight issue though. I’ll see what other layouts I can do.

I have those connections on the opposite side of the motor and solenoid/switch. It will leak and cause issues.

Less fixes for other fixes the better, the injector is just going to be flapping in the wind when your rolling down the highway, unloader block to solid mount the bypass behind the hose reel on your skid and Your unloader is also buried obviously your water tank will be against the back of hydro max skid, so maybe skip that arrangement as well. Your dropping 12k

Spend another 100 get stuff where it won’t get broken but you can access It easily, How about that for $500 they say it works?

Grabbed tape just to hold it for layout purposes lol no worries it won’t be taped :joy:

This layout is the next choice

Weight off swivel, injector over flooring not motor. Just have to turn the ball valve facing upwards. 4 ft whip out the heater into the block then the injector out the top of the block to a 2 ft whip into the reel

Muffler is being re routed ! So that’s not an issue with heat

Dont run SH nor any chemical through my reels…
That is my version

If I remember, will take pic of mine. Mounted somewhat similar but comes in from somewhat below motor…

Thanks I would highly appreciate it ! Do you run your pressure through the reel and the softwash through the reel? I want to use the reel to its full potential but also don’t want to intentionally shorten it’s life

yep, Grizz has got my softwash reel and it’s over 6 years old at least and still works perfect. But I flush mine daily and they have the stainless manifold.

The Hannay should come with a SS manifold already, I’ll have to double check. I really don’t want to just use the reel for storage. I want it to function too

Update : it’s carbon steel

I think this layout is really good. Access where I need it, no pressure on swivel, injector over nothing but the polyvinyl flooring

A lot better, that carbon steel will need to be flushed religiously. I have the SS Titan, no issues but I do flush out all the time. Of course SS holds up better, if that one fails at some point in the future just replace with SS.

I will absolutely flush the reel out and the injector. I have the Schertz box on the way :+1:

I know a lot of people aren’t a fan of the 90’s but even if I loose 1-2 gpm, that’s still a lot of cleaning power especially for house washing

You still run chems through the reel.

You can run bleach thru a hannay for 7 or 8 years before you have any problems. Lot more efficient and quicker to use the reel the way it was intended to be used.

@Innocentbystander thank you.

I’d rather use the reel the way it was meant to be used then worry about a replaceable part I can change out years down the road. I didn’t spend $600 to store hose

I agree, worst case scenario you can buy the replacement manifold in SS when the carbon steel goes out. Like @Innocentbystander said it will be years before that happens.

The manifold is not the issue

Don’t be short and mysterious, explain! Lol

I think he’s disgusted at the amount of restriction you have built into something very simple lol.
