Bypass my version

Shhhh. He has to learn these things on his own. That’s how he learns, I think.

:zipper_mouth_face: carry on Dustin.

Yes, it restricts. No questions there.
A gimmick? Well…

Not trying to be mysterious.
The reel is mire expensive than the manifold.
I rather replace a manifold than a reel.

My set up is different, as you can see from my pictures.
I just dont run chems through my reels.

I could just skip the bypass all together and have the water go from the burner outlet to a quick connect whip line with an injector on it then connect that to the hose reel. Also the injector when sucking water (when schertz box is flipped to soap off) could replace that average 1 gpm loss from the injector flow restriction.

But then I bought the bypass and built it for nothing !

Yep. make it simple. Ditch the bypass, plumb from the pump to injector to reel swivel.

House wash 4 sides, truck in the middle, soap 2 walk back either move pickup stick from sh to water or twist ball valve on bypass, or twist a 3 way from sh to water on your pickup =same effort =$ 2 bucked, , $89 bypass, $12 3 way , will you use ball valve for other stuff yeah,

And yah still gotta freakin put water in a bucket to flush ds inj with bypass

no you dont if you do it right…
look at my set up it saves you time to flush and clean

I run the bypass and 3 way to sh and water of my ds, I don’t run through the reels as well, If your jumping between softwash, wood or concrete and don’t want to shut machine off, the bypass is way to go and add the the 1/4 3 way to rinse injector on the back side off the house and your good, budget guy injector 2 buckets, you got a buck to spend and want max rinse power get bypass, your lazy I guess you need the remote box, I park as close to the house because I don’t want to walk.

Lot of bad info in the above post

Please enlighten me I want to maximize my time and money and prolong the equipment. I mainly do house washes and wood decks.

It’s not lazy, it’s just being efficient. Using a remote saves a trip to the truck which is time you could be soaping or rinsing. Time is money.
