Business Plan for newbies

Not talking about what water fed pole or kind of soap is better…it was a business plan… don’t be a weenie

@CarryWeaver I sometimes think it is better to eat apple pie with melted Colby jack cheese than with ice cream. However, one must take into account the tide change before entering the sound to dig for oysters. There are situations where cleaning your finger nails with an Uncle Henry should be discouraged: riding on a donkey, fighting a rabid monkey or other such endeavors

I think Carryweaver has been booted.

When you mentioned “dig for oysters” I would’ve bet $100 you were going in the direction of sand…lol

Great info, its been a while since you posted this how much has your direction changed since your initial business plan? Have you been able to stay strictly in commercial or have you gotten into residential as well? Have you been able to expand into fleet washing and expand your area to I beleive you said Chicago area successfully or have you pushed out those timelines? Looking forward to hearing back

Actually, I’ve changed course when the numbers told me to. We are at 70 residential 30 commercial. And have actually shortened up our service area.

3 full time guys + myself and am looking to add 2 more this spring.

I think the biggest reason for staying local is I did a lot of SEO to get my website ranked #1/2 and have done really well with Facebook ads and the residential leads have poured in.

Fleet washing, negative as the water filtration and all that stuff turns me away.

Where you located @Patriotspwashing

You definitely can’t fleet wash for every company

so i read your business plan and its amazing. I am a veteran looking to start up my own pressure washing business in Buffalo/Niagara region of NY. Where do you think I should start? Best pressure washer for the price? Why soft washing?
Thanks, Adam

Tha k your for share of. I have not even considered a business plan. Paid cash for a 6x10 enclosed trailer with 2-4gpm machines and a 12v SW system fed from a 26 gal SH and 200 gal booster tank.

I am in the Gulf Coast of Florida and still early stages. Haven’t even narrowed down a name or applied for the LLC yet.

Hey I’m in Kalamazoo, MI. Starting my first year this year! Hopefully I’ll see ya around or bump into ya in the near future! Good luck and wish ya the best my fellow Michigander!:sunglasses:
