Burner orientation on Pressure Pro skid

Hi. i am trying to set up my new k7.3 unloader and have same problem. Bypass and hp hose jumping when trigger released . Unloader has #3 orifice and on package says #2, i assume that bypass nipple.I cant find any markings on bypass nipple to confirm what # it is. So if it is #2 what can i do to fix problem.? I have 5’ ,3/8 hose for bypass. Should i try to use 1/4 hose?
Thanks for any advise.

What gpm is ur washer?

For the record Hydrotek only uses 120ft of coil in their 8gpm burner compared to almost 300ft in a Landa 8gpm. Granted there is a huge price difference. I don’t see much differences between Pressure Pro and Hydrotek. The Landa weighs nearly 1400lbs because it’s burner is 300ft of 3/4” coil. I almost bought a hydrotek until I found out they only had 120ft of half inch coil which wasn’t far off from the Pressure Pro that I had issues with fluctuations in temperature.

The length of the coil plays a role. But a ADC burner can’t handle a nozzle bigger than 2.5 GPH. A SDC can handle up to 4 GPH. So if you had a longer coil and a 2.5 GPH burner not going to get munch hotter unless u install a SDC burner. Mine gets plenty hot enough for me if I installed a bigger burner I feel like it would be a waste of fuel. And u would also need a bigger motor or generator to run it. Which would also be more fuel. Sure there are better ones than Pressure pro but I’m just referring to how hot it will get if u are running 8 gpm or bigger. JMO

Does urs have a ADC or SDC burner?? What the price of a Landa? Is it 12 volt or generator and 8 gpm?

I’m not saying Pressure Pro is bad. I’ve used their cold water machines for years without issues. I just don’t feel like Hydrotek is much better. I haven’t even gotten the Landa in yet. It just shipped towards the end of last week and my distributor said it could take up to 8 days once it ships. I don’t know much about ADC or SDC. I just know it’s a Becket burner powered by a 2,900 watt generator. The only issue I had with my Pressure Pro was I could feel the lance getting cool in the middle of washing then it would briefly heat back up to where it would nearly burn the crap out of you. It was just inconsistent and I didn’t want to have that issue with the restaurants I clean now with as much oil and grease as they have. I doubt it’s a big issue with lower gpm machines but with 8 or more that extra coil makes a big difference. I’m excited to get my hands on it and inspect it in person.

Them belt drive generators put out 20 charging amps like a GX690 puts out. So the Beckett Burner will be a ADC model. Same as mine and Harolds. So even if u have twice the coils it’s not going to get munch hotter. Because the burners only putting out 2.5 gph and that’s what makes it hott. But if u had a SDC burner it would burn 4 GPH that would be a bad boy get up to temp almost twice as fast and should have no problem getting a 8 or 10 gpm up to 200 degrees. I just see alot of people give advice about the coil makes all the difference. It does make a difference!! But u could put 400 ft of coil and it wouldn’t matter a 2.5 gph burner is only going to get so hot. And price wise don’t know how munch a Landa is but I got mine off Facebook for 4000 it had 55 hrs on it. And it will only get the water temp up around 160 degrees at 8 gpm tested it with a thermometer.

I don’t know about adc or sdc but from what I was just reading I don’t think adc would fit the btu capacity for this burner.

If it’s got a SDC burner the generator will need to have 25 charging amps minimum. Don’t think that generator is but 20 amp .

I just called Landa and they said they switched to the Wayne EH burner which goes up to 6gph. I really Dont know much about burners just the experiences I’ve had with them. I just know it’s close to 800,000 btu’s. I like the coil length because it will help keep its temperature consistently and not give me the same issues I had before. Not because it makes a huge difference in peak temperatures.

Have heard bad things about Wayne Burner. Never had one all mine has been Beckett. Wouldn’t won’t the Wayne burner.

Well if something happens it will be under warranty for a long time. I got that information from a dealer in S.C. I don’t know if it’s accurate. I highly doubt Landa is going to choose a burner for their top of the line machines that give them issues.

So u have the same size Burner and the generator puts out 20 charging amps . Same as our GX 690 do. Different coil.

So you think the only difference is different coil?

Good example is. If I set my thermostat on my Burner to 200 degrees. The burner will be on the whole time because it can’t get the water temp up that high to cut the burner off.Because It will only get up to 160 degrees with my ADC 2.5 gph burner at 8 gpm.

But if I had a SDC burner putting out 4 GPH and set the thermostat to 200 degrees. It would get the temp up to 200 degrees. Almost twice as fast and when the thermostat got to 200 the burner would cut off. With 8 gpm.

With a 6 gpm burner with a 8 gpm machine the burner isn’t going to shut off. Unless you set it at a low temp.

Yes sir I do. Just being honest and maybe someone else can chime in on the Wayne burner. Like I said I’ve never owned one. But heard to always go with Beckett than Wayne they may be better now.

And the only other difference I can think of is the cost. U never said what the price tag on it was??

Your getting gph and gpm confused.

GPH for the burner!! GPM for washer!!:grinning:

What I meant by 6 gpm burner is that’s what it’s rated for. So ur machine ur getting is 8 gpm washer with a 6 gpm burner on it:grin::grin:
