Burner orientation on Pressure Pro skid

Bypass should be same size as your pressure hose

Ok. It has to be the bypass hose size. I’ll try changing it to 3/8”. I have some 3/8 poly braid so I’ll go with that.

It only pulsates when I let off of the trigger. Other then that it’s running smooth. Hopefully sizing down the bypass will fix it. I can’t see why pressure pro rigged it this way if it’s common knowledge it should be the same size.

Maybe the k7 likes a bigger hose. They can’t sell them so they put them on skids and people get frustrated and have to buy a good unloader. Win win for them.

My k5 is smooth as silk after I introduced some back pressure in the bypass line. I used an old ds injector, drilled out the orifice to 1/8”, and adapted it in line on the bypass outlet. Then I have 5/8” garden hose running to the buffer tank. No jump or kick on either the pressure hose or bypass now.

For a larger machine, you’d want a larger orifice to avoid excessive back pressure. Use the nozzle chart as a guide to get your desired pressure.

That’s what I call clever ingenuity. I hoping that the 3/8” bypass line will do the trick :crossed_fingers:

Not saying it happens often but when I get low on water or have to prime the pump that does happen

If you mount bypass hose on the opposite side of the buffer tank from the out put side that helps prevent air bubbles in the line

Needs 3/8 because of the piston!!

I blew a hole in my poly braid after awhile. If you go with 3/8”, I would use either good air hose, or better yet pressure hose.

I like the larger diameter hose feeding back to my tank because it creates less turbulence- it’s entering the tank at a lower velocity.

I tried the 3/8 and I’m having the same problem. It only pulsates when I let off of the trigger. It rocks the whole trailer

Your bypass should be mounted on the opposite side of the tote

Hmmm. I don’t think that hose should be jumping like that?

To prevent air bubbles from entering the line? I do plan on moving it to the proper place. I’m looking at the 1 1/2” supply line and there is not any bubbles entering. There was when the tank was lower but just for the sake of elimination I filled it more and now there’s no bubbles. That’s not what’s causing this. Im at a loss.

I was actually considering plumbing a piece of 1/2” pvc to the bypas line inside the tank so it would be refilling under water. I would think this would prevent any bubbles.

No, that’s what everyone else is saying as well. I guess I’ll just have to call the vendor Monday. I’m at a loss.

Yes that helps prevent the air bubbles. I use high pressure hose for my bypass and it doesn’t jump like that probably because of the weight. I also leave the some slack in the line and tie it off to the tote. With my k7 when you let off the trigger it does that but not continually.

Do you have any leaks in your high pressure side like QC fitting

None, I’m only running one section of hose. I haven’t installed the reels yet so this is just 1 hose and the gun directly to the machine.

It’s probably a bad unloader

Is it doing it continually or just when you initially let off the trigger?

Only when I let off of the trigger.
