Building your own skid?

So here are some not so great pics. I have to do a wash after work and I’ll take some more. The 35 gallon tank is straight 12.5sh and the 5 gallon bucket is sitting inside of another 5 gallon bucket that is mounted to the skid. It has my freshwash mix in it and I have a ball valve that is hooked into the SH line. I can pull SH and housewash mix from 1 line and still adjust the mixes when I’m using my 12v pump. I am getting rid of the buckets and replacing them with an actual chemical tank that’s 8-10 gallons.

Its amazing how much space you still have left on the truck. I bet the negative space keeps you up at night dreaming about what you’re going to install there next.

Once I get the water tank under this skid all plumed up I will be a happy camper! Been waiting on this tank for 3 months. I don’t want to add much more or it will look like a big pile of garbage. This is also a short-bed… My next build will be a long bed standard bed F-250 and all 3 hose reels will be mounted on the bedside on passenger side. Maybe do a flatbed?

This thread covers the build a bit better. Maybe one day Ill do a complete front to back thread of specs and build. But I’m sure the regulars get tired of seeing my truck lol

Were you a plumber in a previous life?

Yeah haha I saw that. Demolition ranch I think is the YouTube guy who was testing it. I would still never own one though.

No, stripper… Just grew up watching my dad do plumbing on the house. I get an idea in my head and it won’t leave until I build it. Even if it is stupid and doesn’t work in the end…

Very nice sir, hows it holding up now or have you changed up anything!! Thanks

Haven’t ran this rig in a few years. Upgraded to a cab over truck then back to a trailer since then! It worked great while it lasted. But I didn’t have much room
