Budget Build

Lol he’d win the wash off tonight for sure. We got beat up from the heat all day. No rain yet.

Good deal. Yeah, it was a hot sucker here today. Muggy as hell like it could rain any minute but never did. Now that I’m trying to sit outside and drink beer its decided that it’s time.

The reason isn’t because nozzles are female. The reason is friction loss. That’s why the nozzles are female. You will also not have the problem of a coupling disconnecting if it pulls against something while using low pressure

Wait till @SchertzServicesLLC sees this thread. He’s gonna get a kick outta seeing another predator being built

Man, I hate to admit it but I was really looking hard at them the other day in HF when I was buying painter’s tape. I mean, i know they won’t last as long as a Honda but if i could build another 8gpm for 2 grand I’d be durn tempted lol one thing I noticed is the throttle lever is opposite and it’s extremely tight on the one in the store. I’ve read they need a tach and some other stuff to be able to dial in.

The tachometer is $20 on amazon and I don’t move the throttle lever. I run mine 6-10 hours a day. Runs like a champ! I’m going to build another when I get a break in work.

Before I built mine and put it on YouTube I could only find 1 other guy from another country that had done it and posted it. Now I see them popping up everywhere.

You’re a trendsetter!

Well, I’d ask you just to build me one and I’ll drive up to Yankee land and pick it up but you won’t even hook a brother up with a measly little old box so I already know that’s out. I’m going to read your thread and see if I can justify it. I really should add a hot box to my current unit before I do anything else

Is that a predator as well @Racer ,our are you showing us the unloader block?

Heck no, it’s a Honda. He’d asked about where to mount the unloader block and I was showing how mine came from factory.

Hey @Hotshot-washing :wave:t2:

Welcome

A little late to the party, but things I’d look at would be that brass adjustable injector. They close themselves under vibrations, get stuck and the spring/ball corrodes too. A stainless, fixed rate injector would be better (20%).

Also, (mixed opinions on this) get rid of the pressure unloader and get a flow sensitive unloader. It’s probably the best thing I ever did and wished I’d done years ago.

Aside from there being no kick back from pressing the trigger - the easy hose handling under pressure, swivels actually work, orings, guns and the hose itself lasts much longer.

Your good man. We’re (LET’S TALK DIRTY PWING LLC) @Hotshot-washing

I’m about to order the K7 and block, are those hydraulic hoses? I looked at the hydraulic hoses at Tractor supply and was wondering, do you guys drill each end out they look narrow?

Go to napa, some Oriellys, or a hydro shop. They will build um for you on the spot @316 ,I get 2 wire for my rig set up,1 or 2 wire for my pw hose

Whoever you buy the k7 and block from will have the hoses you need too.
