Bidding on City Jobs

Wow. I knew that such things were possible, but I’m so new in the game I had no way of figuring it out. Thanks. Now I have a new stradegy to explore for the “down season.” But I’m out here in california where it’s cold enough to wear pants for about a week lol

Good thing you only have to wear them for a week because they probably contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Oh my lord dont even get me started on all that non sense! A lot of places wont ship me chemical or even equipment because I live in cali. I’m stuck paying 4.50 a gallon for 12.5% and 3.84 a gallon for 10%. Cant find 55 gallons for anything less than 600… and that not even scratching the surface lol

SH is made with saltwater so should be cheaper out there…lol. What part of Cali are you from? There a few other guys on here from there so they might be able to hook you up with where they get their SH.

San gabriel valley, or los angeles area. When I first made the jump to power washing (as premature as it may have been) all the way back in MAY, I tried calling a few businesses that were established, maybe to gain some helpful contacts and if they didnt hang up on me, then well let’s just say the response wasnt nice. Then I tried chasing down every pool guy I could find, the ones that knew what SH is tried to become my distributor (at a markup for the exact same crap I get now.) But luckily, in the context of the situation business has been slow, and I’ve never had a roof job, but I’m tryin. Got a fancy softwash system and everything. So far it’s just a expensive water hose to fill my 5 gallon bucket I strapped a 1 gpm pump and wand to because I got tired of pump ups. Sorry I rambled on a bit there. I would appreciate the references greatly…

I believe @Chesebro is in your area so would know where to get SH. @Powerjet is around San Diego. I think the others are further North.

That’s awsome. If you wouldnt mind letting them know that someone is going to be contacting them. I don’t like to suprise people, with all the spammers now-a-days people are guarded against ones associations…

I tagged them in the post so just wait for them to reply to this thread. They got a notification when I tagged them so they’ll be around. They both check in on the forum regularly anyways.

yea I’m in san diego

Yeah I was actually going to check out jracenstien today after a job but ran out of time. I gotta get some f9 efflo for some red brick efflorescence tuesday. My problems been finding affordable bleach. You have probably seen what I’ve been able to find from my previous comments. Thank you I’ll have to check it out. Any advice on efflorescence? Everything I read and seen says I should the customer that I can get it off, but itll come back in a week or so

@Drewsterkao F9 Efflorescence sold here which is a little closer than JN to San Gabriel Valley (maybe)

They were actually first on my list to check out today, but I ran out of time. A small patio turned into windows, driveway whole house, then unfortunately ace hardware to replace a screen:face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

No surprise…the City awarded the contract to the $65,970 company.

They must have it down to an exact science.
