Trailer should be ok. Titans are just junk reels. Powder coat on trailer should be fine

I see you mentioned prefer Hannay reels over the titans. I was about to order 2 titan reels, simply because the Hannayâs were only rated for 3 or maybe 3500psi and my machine is 4kpsi. The titans and the Cox reels were about the only ones I saw that were rated up to 4K. What are you running? PSI wise?
I run 8 gpm at 3k psi. Unless it is a low volume pump, very few people run more than 3k. Most of my use is below 4 or 5 hundred psi. Either way they are overbuilt. Expect 10 or so years. Titans, summits, and cox never lasted more than a year or so for me.
Mine is 4gpm at 4kpsi. I just saw the rating on the Hannayâs and others at like 3000 so was a little worried about hooking to a 4kpsi machine. The cheap Cox reels and the titans were about the only 2 that I saw rated at 4k. Do you think Iâd be fine or whatâs your opinion?
I would never consider buying any other reel buy a Hannay. On the other hand, I would never try to wash with a 4gpm machine. My advice is free but double edged at times

My titan is doing great, its the aluminum series. I plan to buy a few more.
Powder coated anythings will fail.

Haha! Point taken sir! I appreciate your honesty! And I will say, I will never buy another 4gpm machine. The things we do before we learn, what can I say.
The powder coating on my Summit reels is already peeling and they are not even a year old. 
Maybe they didnât acid bath some of the reels. I donât know. They say the trailer will get an acid bath then be powder coated. It definitely shouldnât be able to peel if applied correctly. I know on oil pans and valve covers it holds up better then paint. We will see.
So did i,bought mine in like november last year. Put it on the trailer and did a driveway, and i guess over spray got on it. So the first time i go to unroll a hose its starts squeaking bad. Put a little WD40 on it and havent had a problem with the squeaking sense. But the paints already chipping off. Wish i would have bought another titan instead.

This reel is rated to 3000psi. Per your advice on reel choices, Im ordering one. Can it deal with 8gpm/3500 (even though the pressure pro specs exagerate) every day? Do I need to specify a higher psi rating to sprayer depot upon order? Thanks

I have some over 10 years old.
I ordered a set for my electric hannayâs and they sent ones for manual. I had to send them back. But they seem to be very well made.
