The skid is 3/8” thick, 18” wide C channel from the scrap yard. The ends are welded capped with 3” angle iron. All in all, the skid itself weighs 143lbs!
Cost me about $70 for steel and my buddy powder coated it for $40.

I have the same machine and it’s been great. I hate you had a bad experience. I always call Shaun at the Nashville store to place my orders. I had bad experiences with the people at the Wisconsin store

Unfortunately the stuff sold on their website goes through their Wisconsin store…

The 26hp ones are d1105 . I also have a d600 12hp that’s going on my air compressor and a d722 that is only rated @ 20hp but actually powered a 8.5@3500 pump. I was shocked it had the power to do that. These little diesels are so under rated on hp when your use to gas engines. They also can use automotive type mufflers so there surprisingly quite

I’m thinking of going down the same road as you are.
If you don’t mind sharing some setup info later on I would be stoked.
Most of my machines and vehicles are diesel and I would really like to have two rigs the same as you are setting up.
I don’t have a lot of work scheduled at the moment so I’m thinking of jumping on a plane to USA in the near future.
I may have to sell a toy to convert to a couple of PWs.
I’m wishing I had the Info and contacts to have set up rigs like those above before I purchased my last couple of units. I ended up getting what my local supplier could order and I feel I could have done heaps better.
Besides I hear u guys do a bit of bbq and fishing over that way that is worth checking out.

I stopped buying from them all together because of the guys at the Wisconson store. I might buy from Nashville since I hear good things from you guys.

We have a lot of bbq around here but nothing like Tennessee. Best bbq in FL is in the side of the road trailers not restaurants.
We are the fishing capital of the world though.
Here you can go flats fishing for reds and snook in the morning and Goliath grouper and marlin fishing in the afternoon in the same boat.

What about using a 19817 - Briggs & Stratton 28 HP Vanguard EFI Engine to build a pw?

Some washers come equipped with the Vanguard engines though I couldn’t tell you which ones or which exact engines they are.

The Vanguard 37HP EFI costs about the same as the Kohler 37HP non EFI. I was thinking of building a machine using the Kohler EFI
