I have one to do on Monday. I will be doing the same…lol
Uh, I’d say you have HORRIBLE mildew and algae. I thought for sure that you ruined someone’s awning but if they say it was tan then you nailed it. Good job.
Yep, if fabric wasn’t bleach safe, it would’ve most likely turned a blotchy pink, not an even tan
Nice!!
Shout out to @anon37135677 and @DisplacedTexan from an ole truck washer, Thanks for the help fellas ! Couldn’t of done it without ya
What?? That’s awesome! I think you beat mine lol.
You have any success with cold calling these apartment complexes or do they typically reach out to you?
Great video, thanks!
Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you scrape the areas out of arms reach? Assuming you can’t lean on the awning to reach it but unsure about leaning to reach. Maybe as simple as strapping the scraper to a pole?
No scraping for this guy. Used a good hot mix and a good brushing, let it set for 10 minutes plus kept walls wet and a good rinsing. Had lichen as yall call it I think on the front edge, came right off. 2 applications btw.
That was a hot mix - turned a black awning red. Not bad for a rubber scrubber. The other side is calling. Come on over.
Exactly HD has a scrapper with painting pole threads on it. Thanks to Squid for mentioning it.
Simple but smart. Thanks!
No way I’d price that at only $80-$120…I don’t care if it only takes 30-40min…That’s $150 minimum from my end.
Never ! That was for a client that I wash trucks for on a weekly, Didn’t want a SH cowboy coming over to see how easy it is to wash trucks and start thinking
nice work
if you had to estimate, how much water did you use to clean this awning?
80,100 gallonish im thinking, Remember now I’ve never done one so this was my first time and I kept a keen nervous eye on the metal siding so it never dried till finished. Im a rubber scrubber not a Rezzy SH slinger.
hmm…thats about 100 gallons more than I would use
Anything for ol Uncle Weird Beard.
