What machine you running?

690 with an udor 8gpm 3500psi gear drive

You know it’s a physical impossibility to get 3500 at the nozzle with your configuration. But as long you’re get stuff cleaned, that’s all that matters

Gotta say I was surprised too but thats what the gauge says at the surface cleaner :man_shrugging:

You need to check your gauge and unloader. As IBS says, it’s virtually impossible. There are literally tens of thousands of these machines out there, but maybe you have the 1 in a million aberration.

Just tested again with a different pressure gauge and it put me at about 1900 psi… both are the same water dragon pressure gauges lol. Oh well

That’s about right. Your machine only produces 3k, minus 300psi for every 100ft of hose, plus other friction loss

Now try with some 2502s with your ‘new’ pressure gauge. Trust me, you’ll like it. Better yet, throw the pressure gauge away and just go for it with the 02’s

Pressure gauges belong on fire engine pump panels and inside laboratories

I guess I chose the bigger tips so we’d have less chance of damaging concrete and striping. I don’t trust all my employees judgement when I’m not around lol. But I’ll consider it

Where would they be exercising judgement? Put the right tips on an SC, and give it to them to clean stuff :joy:

Newer concrete and some stained concrete. Still cleans great tho we just did a big concrete job with 60,000 sq ft and it went pretty quick

You still liking your box trucks? Was Uhaul pretty good to deal with?

Yes I really like them. And yes super easy to go test drive one and purchase it on the spot but call first to be sure a manager is available. Are you considering one?
The aluminum floor is nice
They can handle a ton of weight
Lots of storage room - I like the “mother’s attic” over the cab its a good place for the surface cleaner and all my different buckets of chemicals.
I would definitely recommend a side door to access the machines and keep them cooler.
Gas mileage sucks but what do you expect lol

Have they been pretty reliable? When you get a chance, post some pics of how your’s are laid out. How much did those wraps run you.
Though realistically, I’m thinking of getting one, carrying up to @Innocentbystander and cutting top off. I like the weight capacity, the low floor, and the aluminum floor to be sure, as well as price. The problem I have is that I need to be able to get into 7’ heights. All public garages in Greenville have a 7’2" height so I need a low flatbed. I do a lot of work there. My truck system clears the entry by 2". The Ford cabs these have are 6’9" which is perfect. I’ve looked for the cab and chassis combo, which they have a lot of, but the only ones I can find come with 20’ chassis, making the total length 26’ which is too much for some of the areas I need to go.

Had to replace tires and the rear leaf springs on both and front end on one of them. Had some other issues too but overall theyve been good. Uhaul maintains them well but they also get rid of them at around 130-150k miles for a reason. So you can expect to put some money into them but we only paid about $7-$8k for each so it’s hard to beat that. They are tall which can be annoying but we haven’t had to turn down a job yet because of it. 10’ tall and 11’ with my ladder on top. I’ve heard of people turning them into flat beds I think that would work well for you.
Auxiliary fuel port on the gas tank makes it easy to run your machine off the truck which is convenient.

I’ll take some more pics of the set up when I get a chance

Wraps were about 750 for the design on 99designs and 4k a piece for installation :sob: our trucks do get noticed everywhere tho

UPDATE on Aqua Pro: I lifted up over a hose and came back down on the sidewalk bending the brush. The bar came into contact w/the clips and bent the bar, the brush & popped the swivel right out of the cover. Spoke the WW & there’s no coverage for accidental so was going to price out the ground force version as the cover is metal. but hopefully the repair that I’m doing will work out. I wish I had a vice & pipe bender I’d try to straighten the bar as well.
