We wear the full face for sandblasting and the half for roofs. Do u have a thick beard? Take something that smells strong and hold it close to the mask . If u can still smell it get the right size mask or shave if need be. If u can’t smell nothing take more breaks and get with ur doctor probably something else going on. Can’t imagine wearing either one doing a house wash I would pass out!!

Try a air fed mask/helmet there is no rubber seal it relies on positive air displacement.
I use some nasty 2pack paints and it works until filter is saturated which is the same for any respirator I think.
We have extreme humidity here and it’s a game changer compared to old school face suckers
I’ve worked with chlorine and HCL on an industrial scale. Organic vapor cartridges are the only way to go (besides a SCBA) .

Xplore 8000, I have the helmet with visor option as well as the standard hood. I also got tear off skins for the visor which rock. I will try to attach a link to a vid of a guy running around with one on just for giggles. Free Run with Dräger X-plore 8000 - YouTube

I know this is an older post but for new guys like me I wanted to share that I spoke to a wonderful lady from 3M who suggested this.
First choice for cartridges 609022. Second option (avail at Home Depot) are 60923.
I also asked about disposable masks and she suggested the 8576 mask.
Also, slight rant, but F Amazon! Try your best to avoid this hell hole of a company. So many companies went out of business during Covid and Amazon surged like crazy and the small companies folded one by one. I’d support Menards or Home Depot over Amazon any day of the week. Rant over.
Home depot i believe is a walmart company btw. Not that it matters to much as there is not much competition for them.

Fogginess.
I only use it in close environments.
Rainx wipe will solve it.
Respirator i use 90% of the time.
But you can combine respurator with a face shield
