Lol at a minimum, pretend you’ve done some research, make it up as you go.

I recommend calling or emailing:

Brandon Grossman / General Manager

Order the Honda GX690 (with a Honda muffler), Udor Gearbox, Udor CKC 30/24 (8GPM @ 3500PSI), mounted to an aluminum skid. Specify left facing muffler. I had to swap mine (they paid for shipping new one to me and old one back).

I paid $3149 without shipping/tax.

Everything @TexasPressureWashing said, except avoid the aluminum skid

You’ll need:
12 Gallon Gas Tank
Gas Hose Double clamp it to the gas filter on the engine
4X Rubber Vibration Isolation Mounts
Drainzit Oil Drain Hose (trust me)
Lawn Tractor Battery (Example, buy local and cheap)
Battery Cable Kit
Grounding Straps

@MuscleMyHustle brought my shovel who needs a spoon LOL

Agree I’d prefer stainless steel powder coated but they didn’t offer it so I’m switching when it cracks/breaks. Love my SS skid for the 390.

Udor 8 gpm gear drive + Honda or Predator 22 hp.

can they add a hotbox?

Might have to upgrade ole heath to a digger, shovels are slowing him down :joy:

Never asked. But I’d probably go with a Hydrotek for that. It’s what I’m planning to do when I add hot water and move into commercial.

sounds good. i think i’m also gonna go with a hydrotek i’ve heard nothing but positive experiences with them

I’d be careful with those vibration mounts. I had a similar kind that didn’t have the screw going all the way through and the rubber gave out and sent my machine flying down the road

I’d reccomend these instead TCH Hardware 8 Pack Large Black… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GDP63YC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Locking nuts regardless of what you use. But those have a steel inner housing which wouldn’t fail even if the rubber does.

Had lock nuts on it, but the rubber just ripped in half

Hello,

I am new to the industry and planning to build out a gx690 right with an udor pump. I am trying to figure out whether the Belt Drive or Gear Drive version is a better choice long term. I have done a lot of reading online here and I believe most people are leaning toward belt drive.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Gear drive all day. If you throw a belt you’re back washing in ten minutes.

Speaking of which…what belt # do I need for Diego’s specials? I would like to have a couple on hand for when. It eventually gets up here and starts getting used.

Thank you for the reply. I have learned a lot from your posts. I was originally planning to start off with a 4gpm but your persistence on higher end professional equipment won me over.

I am looking at buying the rig below. I have asked the vendors if they can get this same set up with a belt driven pump instead of a gear reduced set up. I believe they order it through sprayer depot in the states.

If my understanding of the two systems is faulty please let me know.

Learning as I go here. Thanks!

I don’t know where you are, but that machine is about $1200 more than a belt driven. Plus the jump line will blow shortly with that bend, if the muffler doesn’t melt it first.

I’m pretty sure they are BX 50’s. It should still be stamped on the belt. Just make sure they are clogged belts.
