I pull it with a ford ranger with the 4.0 . Keep in mind I don’t ever have water in it, at most just chems.

I did a house the other day with my dual axle trailer. I try to shut the water off early enough so that it is close to empty when I hit the road but forgot to do it. I ended up driving home with about 150 gallons in the tank, you definately can feel the sloshing around and how it pushes causing a jerking motion on the trailer and truck. I also have brakes on the trailer. It definately is a strange feeling toting water around for someone that may not be used to it such as myself.

It’s a 6x12 but with a v nose that’s adds like a foot and a half. But I only have 1 pw in it and the roof setup, never drive with water in it and only 60 gallons MAX of sh

I believe I saw your video Lee, did you get the fatboy in there? I’m debating on closed or open they both have pros and cons. I think without a big garage to store an open trailer the closed would be ideal.

I haven’t put the fatboy in yet, its at our shop still and its been snowing the last day and a half… Last year we ran the all-flow pump with the rigid compressor but found it to be a bit more of a hassle

You can avoid the water surge and almost stop that jerking motion by using these… Surge control for any size liquid tank with drop in baffles. Retrofittable fluid control for any liquid tank cargo, army surplus tanks, milk truck tanks, poly or fiberglass tanks.

A little pricey but they do the trick! I try not to haul water but when I forget to turn it off in time, these make the trip to the next job a little more enjoyable.

You would think they would just build the tanks with grids built in to create multiple chambers. This would work much better…

ok cool. i’m waffling over this 5.5 vs. 8 thing. i know a smaller trailer can handle the 5.5 and a 40 gal buffer tank and all of the above would fit great, but i keep thinking “why not just spend the extra couple hundred and go with the 8gpm?”

the single axle would be temporary, maybe just to get through this season. i’ll have my sites set on a dual axle eventually.

Alex has been gone for awhile. Injectors don’t dilute anything. They do pull at different ratios though.
